Scouting report

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Kansas City

Marquess Wilson had a career-high 80 yards in Week 4 on six receptions. Wilson has seen an increase in playing time with Alshon Jeffery sidelined and will continue to see extra snaps if Jeffery sits again.

Wilson played well last week, but it's been the only time we've seen him have success this season. In the previous two games without Jeffery, Wilson had just one lone catch. He has a great matchup this week against Kansas City, so there's a chance he has another good game. He should be viewed as a WR4 or WR5.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Seattle
Last week, Marquess Wilson finished with just one catch for 10 yards. He even had the benefit of Alshon Jeffery sitting on the bench. His poor performance from a week ago combined with playing with a backup quarterback, combined with a tough matchup against Seattle leaves you with a bad fantasy option in Week 3. Wilson should be viewed as a WR5 this week.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Marquess WIlson - Week 17 vs. Minnesota

Marquess WIlson is listed as questionable this week with a knee injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. If he does play, he won't be a terrible option. Wilson has been more involved in the offense ever since Brandon Marshall was placed on injured reserve.

Last week with Jimmy Clausen at quarterback Wilson was targeted 10 times and caught seven passes for 66 yards. The week before he finished with a touchdown. He's not the best option, but he can serve as depth if your team needs a wideout. He should be viewed as a low WR3 or WR4.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Marquess Wilson - Week 16 vs. Detroit Lions

Marquess Wilson's Week 15 performance played a huge role in getting Drew Dinkmeyer $1 million, but overall he had a poor night. Wilson finished with three receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown on five targets.

It was the first game we've seen Wilson play without Brandon Marshall and he was mostly a letdown. If it wasn't for the touchdown he would have had a poor fantasy night. He draws a tough matchup this week and will likely produce more of the same.

Not only is a tough matchup, but he has Jimmy Clausen at quarterback. He's at best a WR4.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Marquess Wilson - Week 15 vs. New Orleans

Marquess Wilson is an intriguing option this week. The second year receiver has missed most of the season with a fractured clavicle injury, but he's been active over the last four games. During that stretch he hasn't done much as he's been behind Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, and Matt Forte in order for targets.

But now Marshall is gone, which leaves room for Wilson to start getting some production. He's a relatively unknown at this point and it'd be a gamble to start him a week before the fantasy championship (in most leagues).

He has a strong matchup, but it's tough to predict just what his role will be. He has more upside than others because of the offense he plays in. He'll be a low WR3 or WR4 option this week.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Marquess Wilson - Week 14 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Marquess Wilson was not even targeted last week against Detroit. He has three receptions for 21 yards in the three games he's played. He's not the field enough to make an impact.

CHI WR Marquess Wilson - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook
