Josh Cribbs has come a long way at receiver, but whatever you do, don't pigeonhole him as one.

"I'm comfortable at [receiver] but I don't want to say that's going to be my position, because I'd be doing myself and the team a disservice," he said. "That's not my only position and that's not the position you'll mostly see me at. It's going to be all across the field, and that's how I help my team."

Cribbs revealed that the Browns haven't been tipping their hand on how they'll use him during the one day a week the media are watching organized team activities.

Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository reports new Browns starting quarterback Jake Delhomme has been around. Take a look around as spring practice gets rolling. His primary running backs and wide receivers figure to be Jerome Harrison, Monterio Hardesty, Peyton Hillis, Mohamed Massaquoi, Brian Robiskie and Josh Cribbs — average age, 24.

Fantasy Impact: 

The main point here is that Dehlhomme will be Browns' starter barring anything short of disaster. Delhomme's play since his five-interception game in the playoffs two years ago has been exactly that -- disastrous. As soon as the preseason games begin, Seneca Wallace's chances of winning the job will increase with each week that goes by.

Browns Head Coach Eric Mangini said the Browns will consider adding a veteran wide receiver if he is “the right fit.” It’s debatable whether Mangini’s wildest dreams include Terrell Owens in an orange helmet, but a Browns captain put in a plug for the aging superstar Thursday.

During a live chat on NFL.com, Josh Cribbs was asked where he thinks Owens, an unrestricted free agent, will land in 2010. “Hopefully in Cleveland,” Cribbs replied. “I think he’s got a little bit left in the tank. He'll eventually be with a team in training camp.

Fantasy Impact: 

Terrell Owens can't take all the blame for his underwhelming season in Buffalo last year, given the offense he had around him. But a roster spot in Cleveland wouldn't be much of a fantasy upgrade for TO unless Jake Delhomme can somehow resurrect his career. Terrell Owens will turn 37 during the 2010 season, and it's hard to imagine he has another big fantasy season in him unless he lands in a great situation (not Cleveland).
