NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New York Jets

Hunter Henry cracked 50 yards for only the third time this season as the Patriots continue to essentially split between Henry and Jonnu Smith. He still has just the one touchdown and the one double-digit fantasy day this season in Week 6. And the first time Henry saw the Jets this season he caught just one pass. He's a borderline TE2 this week in the Jets rematch.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Hunter Henry was held to just 22 yards on one reception last week against the Jets. He was also held to a lone reception the previous week, and last week, his snap count mirrored that of Jonnu Smith. Henry has been touchdown-dependent since arriving in New England, and with just one score on the season, it's hard to trust him in fantasy lineups. He has some upside in a good matchup this week, as the Colts rank 21st in aFPA to opposing tight ends, but look for a more consistent option if possible.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New York Jets

Neither Mac Jones nor Bailey Zappe went to Hunter Henry last week all that much, as he saw just two targets. It's the fifth time this season Henry recorded two or fewer catches and the third time with one or fewer. Neither Patriots tight end is trustworthy at this point in fantasy, so you're better off keeping both on the bench.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Chicago Bears

The Patriots finally got their tight ends involved last week, particularly Hunter Henry, who caught his first touchdown of the season. Last year, once he got his first score, the touchdowns seemed to come in waves. Could that happen again this week? Maybe, but Henry hasn't been as successful this season with Mac Jones as he was with Bailey Zappe and the former looks to be back this week. The Bears are also pretty good against tight ends, No. 7 against the position in our matchup rankings.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland Browns

Hunter Henry had his best game of the season against the Lions, catching four passes for 54 yards. Of course, Jonnu Smith leaving the game helped play a part in that. Smith will likely be back in Week 6, meaning the two will go back to canceling each other out, though Henry has been the better tight end for the most part. He did see a season-high five targets last week from Bailey Zappe, who will be likely running the show again against the Browns. Still, he's a low-end TE2 this week.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Detroit Lions

Hunter Henry played all but nine snaps last week against the Packers as Jonnu Smith left with an injury. That all resulted in four targets and two catches for13 yards. Henry's best game remains Week 1, which was just 20 yards on two catches. Add the fact the Patriots may run the ball more this week if Bailey Zappe starts at quarterback and it's looking like another week with almost no fantasy value from the tight end position in New England.

NE TE Hunter Henry - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Green Bay Packers

The upside has all but evaporated for Hunter Henry. He's seen just two targets over the last two games and five total for the season. It's a tight-end-by-committee in New England and Brian Hoyer will likely be starting this week. Henry is probably not even startable in a 2TE league.
