Scouting report

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New England

Eric Decker has now received double-digit targets in five of the last six games, including last week's 10. He only had 55 receiving yards, but did score his 10th touchdown of the season.

Decker had some success against New England in the first meeting with 94 receiving yards, so there should be some fantasy stats coming your way if you own him. The Pats are 14th in aFPA to wide receivers. We expect the Jets to air it out on Sunday and Decker will be right in the middle of it. Start him as a low-end WR1 for Week 16.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Dallas
Eric Decker has now had double-digit targets for four of the past games. And after not scoring a touchdown last week, he was able to get 6 this week. Decker has put up numbers like a WR1 a lot this season. Even with a tough matchup against Dallas who is 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers, start Decker in all leagues and formats. He rates a high-end WR2.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Tennessee

Despite having a stud receiver on the other side (Brandon Marshall), Eric Decker keeps chugging along putting up great fantasy numbers. He has averaged over 10 targets per game over the last five and last week caught eight passes for 101. He was held without a touchdown for only the third time this season in games that he has played.

The matchup is slightly favorable for Decker this week as the Titans are 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. Start him as a high-end WR2 for Week 14 even though he is likely to put up WR1 numbers again on Sunday.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Giants
Eric Decker has been a model of consistency as the No. 2 receiver in New York. Another solid game saw him catch five balls, but more importantly he was targeted nine times and scored his 8th touchdown of the season. He is listed as probable (knee) for Sunday, but will play.

Decker has a great matchup against the Giants who are ranked 27th in aFPA to wide receivers. When he has been healthy, he has been outstanding, especially in getting in the end zone. He is ranked a high-end WR2, but is only not a WR1 because of Brandon' Marshall's presence. Start Decker in all leagues.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Miami
Eric Decker was targeted 11 times last week and has averaged 10 targets per game over the past five. He went without a touchdown for only the second time this season, but he has remained a solid fantasy player in all categories this season. The matchup this week is great, as Miami is 24th in aFPA to wide receivers and is ranked a solid high-end WR2. Start him in all leagues and formats.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Houston

Eric Decker was targeted a team-high 11 times and caught 6 passes in what can be considered an off-week for the Jets passing game. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick's thumb might have had something to do with it, but Decker also continued his TD streak. He has scored in every game he has played except one which gives him 7 touchdowns on the season.

Decker has a tough matchup against the Houston defense, which is 9th in aFPA to wide receivers. However, he still is a very good option for Week 11. Start Decker as a high-end WR2 against the Texans.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Buffalo

Last week was another strong game for Eric Decker, with six catches for 79 yards and, of course, another touchdown. Decker has a touchdown in every game he has played except one. No doubt, he has been one of most consistent No. 2 receivers in the NFL.

He will face the Bills in Week 10, who are 12th in aFPA to wide receivers. With Ryan Fitzpatrick back, Decker and all the Jets have the potential to have strong fantasy outings. Start Decker in all leagues as a WR2 on Thursday.
