Dwayne Allen - Week 3 vs. Jacksonville
The good news? Dwayne Allen was on the field for 81 percent of the Colts' offensive snaps in Week 2. The bad news? He didn't see a single target. Instead, some guy named Jack Doyle caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown.
Allen showed promise in Week 1 when he caught four balls for 64 yards and a touchdown. But a zero target game is very upsetting.
He'll face a Jaguars defense that has been very favorable to tight ends this year. Zach Ertz finished with 77 yards and 1 TD in Week 1 while Niles Paul hauled in eight passes for 99 yards and 1 TD in Week 2. Allen is basically in a committee with Coby Fleener, but he has a chance to exploit the Jags' poor defense.
It's hard to trust a TE coming off of a no target game, and that's why he should be best viewed as a TE2 with upside.
