SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Arizona Cardinals

Doug Baldwin has had double-digit targets for three straight weeks and last Sunday he caught 7 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. It was his second 100+ yard receiving game of the season and his third touchdown overall.

No doubt the Seahawks are trying to get him the ball and he should have some more success this week as he will face a Cardinals defense ranked 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. In Week 16 last season, Baldwin torched Arizona for 13 catches and 171 yards.

This is a great matchup for the primary Seattle receiver. Start him in all leagues and formats for Week 10.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Washington

While the Seattle passing game was exploding last week, Doug Baldwin's numbers were tempered. He was targeted 10 times which is a good thing, but considering some of the gaudy numbers put up by QB Russell Wilson, the results were only 6 receptions for 54 yards.

Baldwin will face Washington this Sunday, who is ranked second in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with other receivers getting the spotlight last week, the targets tell the story. Baldwin is still the primary receiver for Wilson and should be in your starting lineup as a solid WR1 for Week 9.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Houston Texans

Doug Baldwin broke out of a two-game slump last week with 12 targets for 9 receptions, 92 yards, and a touchdown. Baldwin has not been as consistent in 2017 as in recent years, but he is still the No. 1 target in the Seahawks' passing game.

Baldwin faces the Texans this week, who are ranked 21st in aFPA to wide receivers. This helps push Baldwin into a WR1 position for Week 8. Start him in all leagues as it appears the Seattle offense is heating up.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New York Giants

Doug Baldwin has had only one significant game this season and everything else has been disappointing. He is still the best weapon in the Seattle passing game, which has been up and down in 2017. We are waiting for Baldwin to put up consistent numbers like he did in 2015 and 2016.

The Giants have done a good job against opposing receivers, as they rank third in aFPA, so this might not be the game Baldwin breaks out. Still, Baldwin should be in your starting lineup as a solid WR2 for Week 7.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Los Angeles Rams

After a great Week 3, Doug Baldwin was quiet with only three targets and three receptions for 35 yards in Week 4. It hasn't been a great first quarter of the season after being the Seahawks most consistent offensive weapon the past two seasons. And it doesn't mean he won't bounce back to that status.

However, even with a good matchup against the Rams who are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers, Baldwin only rates a low-end WR2 which is far call from where many had him at the beginning of the season.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Seahawks finally got the passing game going and Doug Baldwin had a big day. He was targeted 15 times and had 10 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. These have been the numbers Baldwin has put up on a regular basis the past two seasons.

Baldwin will face the Colts who are 17th in aFPA to wide receivers, but he is not 100% because of a groin injury. Even though he says he will play, he has not been practicing and this will hurt his stock in Week 4.

Keep an eye on the injury report on Sunday. If Baldwin is active, he rates a high-end WR2 against the Colts.

SEA WR Doug Baldwin - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Tennessee Titans

Doug Baldwin has turned into a superstar over the past couple of season because of the evolution of the Seattle passing game. But the numbers have not been good the last two weeks as Russell Wilson tries to get his groove back. Baldwin has 10 catches and 13 targets for 107 yards and 0 touchdowns through the first two weeks.

The Seahawks have a great matchup against Tennessee, who is last in aFPA to wide receivers. This could be the game that gets the Seahawks back on track. Or the other possibility is the passing game has peaked and the numbers will be similar to the first couple of seasons with Wilson at quarterback.

Baldwin is a definite starter for Week 3, but he only ranks a high-end WR2 against the Titans. Let's see if the Seahawks can regain the previous season's form.
