Scouting report

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Denver Broncos

Demarcus Robinson played a season-high 95% of the offensive snaps last week as he benefitted from Sammy Watkins' absence. Robinson finished 5-69 on six targets, which is basically the type of game Watkins would have had. Robinson will catch a few passes here and there, but he'll be a tough player to trust fully in Week 7. He isn't much more than a WR5 play.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Buffalo Bills

Demarcus Robinson might see some more playing time this week if Sammy Watkins is out, but he'll be a hard player to trust. Robinson hasn't hit 30 yards in any game this season, and has a total of two yards in his last three games.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Baltimore Ravens

Demarcus Robinson played on 62% of the offensive snaps in last week's game, but only finished 3-28 on four targets. He could see an increased role in Week 3 if Sammy Watkins is sidelined with a concussion, but he's still a tough option to trust, especially in a tough matchup against the Ravens.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Los Angeles Chargers

Demarcus Robinson saw six targets in Week 1, which tied him with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. However, Robinson was much less productive than those two, finishing 3-20-0. Outside of Hill, Sammy Watkins and Travis Kelce, there's no one else in the Chiefs' receiving corps reliable enough for fantasy purposes.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Houston Texans

Demarcus Robinson could be in for a big week. Sammy Watkins has missed practice, and it's not clear if Tyreek Hill will return or not. If both receivers are out, Robinson could end up being the WR1 in a favorable matchup against the Texans. Robinson blew up in Week 2 (6-172-2), but we haven't seen a whole lot from him since. He's finished with receiving totals of 43, 35 and 31 in the three games following his big week. His value fully depends on whether Hill/Watkins play. For now, we view him as a low-end WR3 with upside.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Demarcus Robinson finished with a team-high nine targets in Week 4, but only finished 4-35, his lowest numbers since Tyreek Hill's injury. His targets are promising, however, and if he's able to convert on just two of those five misses it makes for a better fantasy day. He should bounce back in Week 5 in a solid matchup against the Colts, assuming Hill remains inactive. If Hill returns, Robinson's value is suddenly shaky. As for now, though, we like Robinson as a solid WR3.

KC WR Demarcus Robinson - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Detroit Lions

Demarcus Robinson blew up in Week 2 and came back down to reality in Week 3. He was still good, finishing 3-43-1 on four targets, but there are so many weapons in this offense that it's hard for players to maintain a high level of consistency. But there will always be a higher floor due to how many yards Mahomes continues to throw for week-in and week-out. In a solid matchup against the Lions this week, we like Robinson as a strong WR3 or lower-end WR2 option.
