Fantasy Impact: 

Hardesty is coming of reconstructive knee surgery and is looking to be Peyton Hillis' backup, but probably has a bit to go before getting there. Former Packer Brandon Jackson is listed as the Browns RB2.

Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said the team hopes to have running back Montario Hardesty practicing sometime next week.

Fantasy Impact: 

The Browns would love to give Hardesty some carries to lessen the load on Peyton Hillis, but is Hardesty going to be healthy enough to do that? It remains to be seen. If not, Brandon Jackson looms as the handcuff to Hillis.

The Packers selection of Alex Green is a concession to the expected loss of Brandon Jackson to free agency and could be acknowledgement that Ryan Grant will be gone after his contract expires in 2012. Regardless, Green has outstanding talent, it's just a matter of whether he'll be able to adjust to tighter quarters in the pro game.
