Texans coach Bill O’Brien said Monday that running back Arian Foster could return to action Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Foster has missed the Texans’ last two games due to a groin injury.

“There’s a potential that he could play,” O’Brien said Monday at NRG Stadium. “He feels better (Monday). Hopefully he’ll be out there at practice and hopefully that’s something that he’ll be able to help us on gameday.”

Fantasy Impact: 

It's not a lot to go on, but it's only Monday. Rookie Alfred Blue has filled in as the Texans’ primary back but failed to gain traction last Sunday during a home loss to Cincinnati.

Very, very low chance Arian Foster plays Week 12.

Fantasy Impact: 

Ganguli also tweeted she'd expect another heavy workload for Alfred Blue. We didn't think Foster had much of a chance either after not practicing all week. It's a potentially very good matchup for Blue as the Bengals rank just 31st in allowing fantasy points to RBs. The Texans also play an early afternoon game so you'll have time to adjust your lineup if Foster doesn't play.

Texans RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) missed practice again Friday and is questionable for Week 12. We doubt that Foster will play after missing practice all week. The Texans play early on Sunday and Foster should be started if he’s active. Right now, we have Alfred Blue at #11, assuming Foster misses another game.

Texans RB Arian Foster (groin) missed practice Thursday after taking limited reps Wednesday. Foster may be able to play, but he’s currently a game-time decision. If he does play, he’ll be ranked in the top 7. Right now, we have Alfred Blue at #11, assuming Foster misses another game.
