Washington Football Team QB Alex Smith will not play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Dwayne Haskins will start in his place.

Fantasy Impact: 

While Smith has been a better QB in limited comparisons to Haskins this season, WR Terry McLaurin has played well with the second-year signal caller. There is also a chance that RB Antonio Gibson plays this week as well.

Washington quarterback Alex Smith will be at practice on Wednesday and could do individual drills if his calf feels good enough to participate.

Fantasy Impact: 

Smith suffered a calf injury last week and his status for Week 15 against Seattle is up in the air. The fact that Smith is even at practice on Wednesday is a positive sign, but he will likely need to do more than individual drills before the weekend to get the starting nod this week. If Smith ends up sitting, Dwayne Haskins will start against the Seahawks.
