Must win for playoff contention and projected to lose. Who has higher ceiling?

I like the upside of Woodhead, but McKinnon is probably safer. His role is a bit more defined. We aren't that high on Woodhead this week in the rankings, but I love the matchup and think he'll end up with 5-6 catches at least. If you're looking for risk/reward, I think Woodhead offers that. McKinnon is definitely safer though.

I would go McKinnon for sure. He just seems to have a bigger role

Jerick McKinnon ranks better in PPR than Woodhead this week. "Expect a similar role for McKinnon this week in a favorable matchup against the Lions. Detroit is allowing over 110 rushing yards per game, while giving up 12 scores on the ground. McKinnon continues to be a strong RB2 in PPR leagues." "Expect Woodhead to be a reliable low-end RB2 option in PPR formats."
