FanDuel Divisional Round Cash/GPP Breakdown
Hey Brian Hoyer, A.J. McCarron, Teddy Bridgewater, and Kirk Cousins: it was fun while it lasted. The Divisional round of the playoffs brings us offenses run by a higher caliber of QBs than the Wild Card round, but which QBs and players from these offenses should we target?
Cash Game Breakdown
QB Carson Palmer $8,900 vs. GB
Green Bay's defense allowed Kirk Cousins to throw for 329 yards and finish as the top fantasy QB last week, which bodes well for Palmer, who finished the regular season ranked first in yards per attempt (8.7), fifth in passing yards per game (291.9), and first in total QBR (82.15). Arizona’s team total is 28.5, by far the highest on the Divisional round slate, and Palmer has accounted for 71% of the team's offensive TDs.
RB David Johnson $8,500 vs. GB
At a point in the season where injuries have reduced most backfields to committees, Johnson is far and away the best RB play of the Divisional round. In five weeks since gaining the starting job, Johnson is averaging 21.4 touches for 131.6 total yards and 1.0 TDs per game. Green Bay permitted 171 yards on 24 touches to Washington’s RBs last week. Game flow also stands to benefit Johnson; the Cardinals are a seven-point home favorite.
