CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Tampa Bay
Alshon Jeffery caught just one pass last week, and it went for a touchdown. He did suffer a setback with his nagging hamstring injury, however, and is questionable to play this week. He's missed practice all week, including Thursday, and his status is very much in doubt.

If he does play, he'll get a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay's defense. He'd be a WR1 this week if he was fully healthy, but right now he's more of a WR2 option. If he doesn't play, look for Eddie Royal, Marc Mariani and Josh Bellamy to get an increase in production.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Minnesota

Alshon Jeffery went off for 107 yards and a touchdown last week. He's been playing well all season long, averaging nearly 100 yards in the eight games he's played this season.

Jeffery will face an injured Vikings secondary that has allowed two touchdowns to wideouts in three of their last four games. When Jeffery faced them earlier in the season he had a dominant 10-116-1 performance. He should be viewed as a strong WR1 this week.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Washington

Alshon Jeffery is averaging nearly 100 yards per game this season. He is Jay Cutler's primary target considering the receiver depth behind him has been ravaged by injuries. Even tight end Martellus Bennett had to be placed on injured reserve.

He'll get a favorable matchup this week against Washington. The Redskins have allowed about 167 yards per game to receivers this season, and Jeffery typically sees a large portion of Chicago's passing yards. Jeffery should be viewed as a WR1 in all formats.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. San Francisco
Alshon Jeffery was off of the injury report this week for the first time since November 11. He's essentially been battling injuries all season, but he's healthy now and ready to contribute. He did just that last week going for 90 yards on seven receptions.

He'll get a favorable matchup this week against a bad 49ers defense. Jeffery has had monster games almost every time he lines up on the field, so we expect big production. He should be viewed as a strong WR1.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Denver
Alshon Jeffery's dominance was destined to come to a stop at some point, at last week was it. The talented wideout finished with just three receptions for 23 yards against a tough defense. Well, Jeffery faces another tough defense this week. In fact, the toughest. Denver has allowed the fewest fantasy points to receivers this season. A big reason for that is they've only given up one touchdown to a wideout all year long (Mike Wallace). So, the odds are not in Jeffery's favor. He still has a high ceiling because we know what he can do, but he's not as strong an option as usual. He'll be more of a WR2 play this week.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs St. Louis

Ever since Alshon Jeffery returned from injury, he's been nearly unstoppable. In his last three games combined, he has 28 receptions for 414 yards and two touchdowns. Every game has been great, too, with no down performances so far.

He doesn't have a great matchup against St. Louis. The Rams have been tough on wideouts all season and have allowed the third-fewest points to the position. Still, Jeffery's production the last three weeks makes him a must-start player. Jeffery "tweaked" his groin in practice this week and sat out Thursday. His health is something to monitor, but if he plays, he'll be a WR1 option for sure.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Diego

Alshon Jeffery has been on fire since returning from injury, posting back-to-back 110-yard games with a touchdown in each performance. Per Rotoworld's Evan Silva, Jeffery has been targeted on 35 percent of Jay Cutler's pass attempts in the last two games. By contrast, Julio Jones leads the NFL in target rate at 33 percent.

He'll likely continue to see a bunch of targets this week, since Eddie Royal is expected to sit out with injury. Jeffery has proven to be successful in his last two games, so there's no reason to doubt him now. He may not have the most glamorous matchup against San Diego, but Jeffery is an easy WR1 this week.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Minnesota
Alshon Jeffery made the quite the impact in his return. After missing four games with injury, Jeffery exploded with a 8-147-1 line two weeks ago against Detroit. He's easily the best receiver on the team, so it's understandable why Jay Cutler likes throwing him the ball.

He could have a tougher time finding openings this week against a tough Vikings defense. Minnesota has only allowed five touchdowns to wideouts this season and overall give receivers a tough time.

Jeffery's talent and opportunity still makes him a low-end WR1 despite the bad matchup.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Kansas City
Alshon Jeffery has missed the last three games with injury and is officially questionable for Week 5. He's been limited in practice this week and his status is seriously in doubt. If he does play, it will be a good matchup for him. It's not clear if the Bears would limit him to a snap count if he did play. Owners should check on his status leading up until game time to see if he'll be active.

CHI WR Alshon Jeffery - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Oakland

Alshon Jeffery has been limited in practice this week and is a tentative start Sunday. He's missed the last two games, so keep an eye on his health. If he does play, he'll likely have Jimmy Clausen tossing him passes, so there's a double negative.

When fully healthy and a competent quarterback under center, Jeffery can be a WR1 pretty much every week. But with a few things holding him back, it's better to view Jeffery as a risky play with potential. He'll have a poor matchup against Oakland, so it's best to view Jeffery as a WR3 this week.
