Week 4 vs New England
Many people drafted Zay Jones thinking he might be the Bills No. 1 receiver but it hasn't worked out that way. He is third on the team in targets, but five receptions. Jones has zero fantasy value unless they change his role which probably isn't happening at this point.
Week 2 at New York Giants
Zay Jones appears to be the No. 3 receiver after one week, but his numbers were what we expected. He only had two catches for 10 yards. Even with a good matchup against the Giants, Jones has zero fantasy value at this time.
Week 17 vs. Miami Dolphins
Zay Jones has not put up monster numbers as a starter this season, but he has been heavily targeted the past four games including nine targets the first meeting with the Dolphins. Jones also scored his fifth touchdown of the season last week against New England.
Jones has a decent matchup against the Dolphins who are 20th in aFPA to wide receivers. Although Jones is heavily involved in the passing game, the numbers have just not been there most of the season. Keep Jones on the bench.
Week 15 vs. Detroit Lions
Zay Jones was the most targeted receiver for the Bills over the past two weeks although the results were limited - seven receptions for 89 yards. He did score two touchdowns two weeks ago, but was shut out last week.
Jones has had his moments, but like the Buffalo offense, there hasn't been much consistency. His fantasy value remains low and he should remain on the bench for Week 15.
Week 14 vs. New York Jets
Zay Jones recorded four catches for 67 yards last week against Miami, but two of those were touchdowns. He now has three touchdown receptions in the last three games. But he also had a zero reception game two weeks ago. Consistency has been a problem for the Buffalo offense all season and the receivers are part of the issue.
Jones faces the Jets who are last in aFPA to wide receivers in the NFL this season. Although Jones is probably the best wide receiver play on the Bills this Sunday, even with the favorable he should remain on the bench for Week 14.
Week 12 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Before the bye week, Zay Jones had his best game of the season with eight receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. Rookie QB Josh Allen is back in the lineup and had limited success in the passing game.
Jones will face the Jaguars who are 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers. Despite the good performance in the last game, Jones has zero value Week 12 because of the matchup and poor passing game this season.
Week 7 at Indianapolis Colts
The Bills will start veteran QB Derek Anderson this week. The QB play has been shaky most of the season which had affected all of the Buffalo receivers. Maybe Anderson will give them some stability. Zay Jones is the highest ranked WR in fantasy right now. He did score a touchdown last week, but was limited to three catches for 25 yards. There's no reason to have Jones on your roster unless Anderson is a miracle worker.
Week 6 at Houston Texans
Zay Jones had three catches for 20 yards which accounted for 33% of the completions for the Bills last week. And that has earned him the top Buffalo receiver in the wide receiver fantasy rankings for Week 6. That's not saying much. Jones and Kelvin Benjamin both should be on the waiver wire.
Week 3 at Minnesota Vikings
The Buffalo offense is a mess and with a rookie quarterback, it will only get better gradually. Zay Jones is the highest-rated Bills wide receiver for Week 3 against a very good Vikings defense. But right now he should not even be a bench player.
Fantasy Upside
Zay Jones did start 10 games for the Bills last year and the team is hoping he can be a factor opposite Kelvin Benjamin. So, he will be given a chance in training camp to keep that starting spot.

Even starting that many games, he only had 27 catches on the season. The Bills' offense is very questionable with an unstable quarterback situation. Plus, Buffalo went out and acquired Corey Coleman who could end up being the starter.
2018 Bottom Line
Jones is not getting drafted in any leagues and he is our No. 89 ranked wide receiver. He shouldn't a fantasy consideration.
