TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Cleveland
Sharpe followed up a two-catch, 15-yard game with a two-catch, 17-yard game. That hurts. He's had little value since a solid opener. And though the Browns have been terrible defensively, they've done a decent job against opposing WRs, allowing more than 13 receptions in a game to the position just once this season. They have allowed six WR touchdowns, but none in the past two games. The issue for the Browns is tight ends and running backs. Sharpe is not worth anything more than a flex play.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Miami
Sharpe played last week despite being limited during the week with a hamstring injury, but managed just two catches for 15 yards on seven targets. Marcus Mariota is struggling right now, and he and Sharpe just aren't on the same page. Miami has allowed at least 198 yards in receiving yards to opposing wideouts in each of the past three weeks, so there's some hope. But given his output the past three weeks, it's tough to justify using Sharpe as anything but a flex play.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Houston
Sharpe hauled in three passes for 48 yards last week on seven targets against Oakland and is at the mercy of Marcus Mariota's struggles right now. Sharpe, however, has now gotten at least seven targets in all three games this season. But Sharpe is dealing with a hamstring injury, which could limit or keep him out of this game. And Houston hasn't allowed more than 12 WR catches in a game this season. Be careful here. Hamstrings can be tricky.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Oakland
After a seven-catch game in Week 1, Sharpe slowed down a little in Week 2, catching just four passes for 33 yards. But Oakland's pass defense has been atrocious in the first two weeks and Sharpe and company should have plenty of success this week. Roll him out as a No. 3 receiver and hope he finds the end zone against a Raiders pass D that has given up five receiver TDs in two games.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Detroit
The rookie was solid in his debut, getting an appealing 11 targets and catching seven passes for 76 yards. His long catch was just 17 yards, but the longer receptions will come. So will the touchdowns with that kind of workload. The Lions allowed 16 wide receiver catches last week, though just one of the four TD passes against them went to the wideouts. Sharpe is an emerging star and should be no worse than a No. 3 receiver.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Minnesota
Sharpe had a solid preseason and will start opposite Rishard Matthews but whether the rookie can carry that over to the regular season remains to be seen. He'll get opportunities but could have his hands full against a tough Minnesota pass defense. The Vikings allowed 17 WR touchdown catches in 2015. Kendall Wright won't play in this one, which should allow for Sharpe and Matthews to get some shots. But neither is worth more than a flex play this week.

TEN WR Tajae Sharpe - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Sharpe's play allowed the Titans to deal away Dorial Green-Beckham. He's expected to work on the outside opposite Rishard Matthews with Kendall Wright working in the slot. The Titans' passing game won't be great, but Sharpe has good size and should be able to win some downfield battles. Keep him on your radar.
