MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 12 vs. Denver Broncos

Mike Wallace isn't having a monster season. His season high for receptions (7) and yards (81) came in Week 1. He has six touchdowns on the season, but hasn't scored more than once in any game. He's been decent, but nowhere near the top.

He's also struggled in recent weeks finishing with 59 yards or less in five consecutive games. He's also no longer the clear cut option at wideout as rookie Jarvis Landry is emerging.

Having said all of that, Wallace is still worth starting in most leagues. He has a good matchup against Denver this week and could finish with another touchdown. The Broncos have allowed at least one touchdown to a wideout in six consecutive games and in 8-out-of-10 games this season. He'll be a borderline WR2 and a strong WR3 but is rather boom or bust these days.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 11 vs. Buffalo Bills

Mike Wallace is starting to be fairly consistent in terms of his yards. He's had 50-59 yards in each of his last three games. Last week against Detroit he was able to catch his sixth touchdown of the season. He already has more touchdowns this year than he did last.

Early in the year the Bills were favorable against wideouts allowing at least one touchdown in the first seven games. But lately Buffalo has been stingy, allowing zero touchdowns to wideouts in the last two games. To be fair, those matchups were against the Jets and the Chiefs, so maybe not the cream of the crop.

Wallace hasn't reached 100 yards in any game this season, so he's likely not going to produce big numbers. He's likely to get around 50-70 yards with a strong possibility for a touchdown. He's a low -end WR2 or WR3 option this week.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 10 vs. Detroit

Fantasy owners better count their lucky stars Mike Wallace can create big plays. He's caught a 50-yard pass and a 48-yard pass in the last two games, but he really hasn't been a major factor in the Dolphins' offense lately. He's still getting plenty of targets, but he's not converting them into receptions. In the last two games he's caught five of his 15 targets.

To make matters worse, Wallace draws a tough matchup against Detroit in Week 10. The Lions are allowing the fewest points to opposing wideouts this season. Receivers have only caught a touchdown in three out of eight games against Detroit this year.

Decreased production and a difficult matchup make Wallace a low-end WR2 or even WR3 option this week.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 9 vs. San Diego

Luckily for fantasy owners Mike Wallace was able to haul in a long 50-yard catch last week. Because aside from that, he wasn't a big factor. He didn't get his first target until 5:49 left in the second quarter and didn't record a catch until midway through the third. It was a letdown performance in what should have been a favorable matchup.

He'll hope to turn things around this week against San Diego. Lately the Chargers have struggled against wideouts. In the last three games receivers are averaging 204 yards and have scored seven touchdowns.

Wallace is by far the best receiving threat on the Dolphins and will be a primary option for Ryan Tannehill. He is a borderline WR1.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 8 vs. Jacksonville

Mike Wallace is off to a fast start. He has five touchdowns, matching his total from last season. He only has one game this year where he didn't score. Wallace's downside is he's not putting up many yards. His high this season is just 81 yards and that was in Week 1.

He may get a chance to improve on that number this week in a favorable matchup against Jacksonville. The Jaguars will likely be without two starting corners this week, which will open things up for Wallace. Wallace should be viewed as a WR2 with upside this week.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 7 vs. Chicago

It's clear Mike Wallace is far and away the best receiving threat for Miami. He leads the team in targets (44), receptions (25), yards (313) and touchdowns (4). After scoring five touchdowns in 16 games a season ago he already has four touchdowns through five games in 2014.

He gets a tough matchup against the Bears, but he's still a bet to get plenty of targets. He should be used as a WR2.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 6 vs. Green Bay

Mike Wallace was limited in practice on Wednesday, although he's been listed on the injury report all season. He hasn't missed a game this year and he should be ready to play Sunday.

He's clearly the best receiving option on the Dolphins as he leads the team in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He'll be tested this week against the Packers, but he's still a WR2.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 4 vs. Oakland Raiders

Mike Wallace is the only reliable receiver in Miami's offense. He's also the most trusted by quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Through the first three weeks he's had at least five receptions and 50 yards in every game. He also has two touchdowns on the season. He also has 11 more targets than any other teammate this season.

This week he'll face a tough matchup against Oakland. The Raiders have only allowed one touchdown to receivers all season. They also have yet to allow 150 yards to receivers.

Wallace should still be viewed as a WR2 because he's a focal point of this offense, but don't expect huge numbers from him this week. Hope for a touchdown.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 3 vs. Kansas City

Mike Wallace is off to a strong start this season. He's caught a touchdown in each of the first two games and is averaging more yards & receptions per game than last season. He's been the most targeted player on the Dolphins' offense and should continue to put up good numbers.

He'll have a favorable matchup in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. K.C. has allowed the seventh most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season.

Wallace is a focal point of the Dolphins' offense and should continue to see a high volume of targets. In a favorable matchup he should be viewed as a high WR2 with upside.

MIA WR Mike Wallace - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Mike Wallace - Week 2 vs. Buffalo

Mike Wallace had a solid debut in Week 1 against New England. He hauled in seven passes for 81 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. He only surpassed 81 yards six times last season, and two of those times were for 82 yards.

The encouraging part of Wallace's Week 1 performance is the Dolphins weren't even that successful throwing the ball. Ryan Tannehill only finished with 178 yards on 32 pass attempts. That means 34 percent of Tannehill's throws were in Wallace's direction. If he continues this trend, Wallace should be a great option moving forward.

Sunday should be another good day for Wallace. He faces a Bills defense that allowed four different Bears players to finish with over 70 receiving yards in Week 1. View him as a solid WR2 in a great matchup.
