SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Vikings
Even with Jimmy Graham on the field, the Seahawks usage of tight ends has been consistent over the past several years - consistently bad. Now, Luke Willson takes over as the No. 1 tight end in Seattle, but that's really his only positive. His fantasy value is minimal and most games, including this week, he won't even rank a TE2.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 20, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 20: Willson vs Packers

Luke Willson had a team-high four catches last week against Carolina and scored a TD. He can be a target for QB Russell Wilson, but those numbers are probably his ceiling. He doesn't rank the lowest of the four remaining tight ends, so there is still chance for some red zone success. Packers are 10th in aFPA to tight ends which favors Green Bay so overall, Willson is probably not a good play unless you can get Gronk or one of the Colts into your lineup. Then you can go with him, but don't expect much.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 19, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19: Willson vs Panthers

Luke Willson has made his way back to the top of the fantasy rankings for Seattle tight ends, but that's not saying too much. With the exception of one or two good performances, the unit has been quiet.

Even with the best matchup on the field, (Panthers are only 21st in aFPA to tight ends), there isn't much fantasy help from Willson. He rates a third tier tight end for Divisional Playoff weekend.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17: Willson vs Rams
Luke Willson rumbled and stumble for an 80-yard TD pass last week, a rare big play by a Seahawks' tight end. He ended up 139 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the day, making him one of the biggest fantasy coups of Week 16. Do we expect more? Not really. His track record along with the Seahawks offense dictates otherwise. Keep Willson on the bench for Week 17.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16: Willson vs Cardinals
Luke Willson is the best fantasy tight end play this week on Seattle, but that means nothing in the bigger picture, as Seahawks' tight ends have been pretty much irrelevant since Pete Carroll took over. Keep him on the bench.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Willson vs Cardinals
All the Seattle tight ends seem to be getting involved so there are no strong fantasy plays here. Tony Moeaski had a touchdown last week, but it's like the lottery. Pick one and hope you get lucky. For that reason, keep all of them on the bench.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Willson vs Giants

Luke Willson is seeing the ball come his way, but the completions just aren't there. He was targeted by Russell Wilson five times last week, but only had one catch. This isn't a surprise considering how the Seahawks have used their tight ends since Pete Carroll came to Seattle.

Willson has a great matchup as the Giants are 31st in aFPA to tight ends, but that's not enough to warrant a start. Keep Willson on the bench for Week 10.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Willson vs Raiders
Don't get too excited about the Luke Willson touchdown. We have seen Zach Miller sneak into the end zone every once in awhile when he was the starter. It was Willson's only catch of the game. That number is more representative of his role in the passing game.

Oakland is the Week 9 opponent and are 18th in aFPA to tight ends. That really isn't much of a factor because Seahawks tight ends have not been involved in the pass offense since Pete Carroll arrived in Seattle.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Willson vs Panthers
Luke Willson was inactive last week (groin) but is expected to be in the lineup on Sunday. Don't expect anything special as he should remain on the waiver wire.

SEA TE Luke Willson - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Willson vs Rams
Luke Willson had a career-high six targets last week, but that might not repeat any time soon as the Seahawks offense struggled. The tight ends have never been a focus with Seattle since Pete Carroll took over.

Willson will face a Rams defense that is 10th in aFPA to tight ends so the tough matchup doesn't help his cause. Keep him on the bench for Week 7.
