NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Oakland
Another 20+ touch game for LeVeon Bell and although not mind-blowing numbers, he continues to put up solid ones week to week. Last week he had 92 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown for the second straight game.

He has a chance this week to keep things rolling as he faces the Raiders who are 19th in aFPA to running backs. As long as Bell keeps getting the touches, his fantasy value remains high.

Start Bell as a solid RB1 in all leagues and formats for Week 12. We expect him to continue to get the touches and put up over 100 yards this Sunday.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Washington
LeVeon Bell didn't run the ball very well last Sunday but he still ended up with 68 total yards from scrimmage and scored his third touchdown of the season. Bell had 22 touches which should be the norm most weeks with the veteran back.

Bell will face the Redskins in Week 11. Washington is 24th in aFPA to running backs. The Jets should continue to feed him the ball which means decent fantasy numbers. Start Bell this week as a high-end RB2 in standard leagues and a solid RB1 in PPR leagues. He continues to be a weapon in the passing game for QB Sam Darnold.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs New York Giants
LeVeon Bell continues to put good numbers despite playing in a Jets offense that hasn't figured it out. He had 25 touches for 121 total yards, but failed to score a touchdown. In fact, he only has two touchdowns this season.

Bell will face the Giants who are 20th in aFPA to running backs. Bell had an awful game two weeks ago before bouncing back last week, but the Jets offense has made it tough to predict Bell's production.

For Week 10, Bell only ranks an RB2 in standard leagues and a high-end RB2 in PPR leagues. The matchup could help him put up some higher numbers, but the Jets also could limit those numbers with their inefficiencies.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Miami
LeVeon Bell now has three straight games under 20 touches which makes you ask what the Jets are doing. When Bell gets over 20, he has had success, but his numbers have been average over the past three weeks and that's with a quarterback struggling. You figure New York would ride Bell.

The Jets face the Dolphins who are last in the NFL in aFPA to running backs. This should help the Jets offense and also Bell's numbers. Start Bell as a solid RB1 in all league and formats. Expect him to get back to 20+ touches and a good fantasy afternoon.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Jacksonville
Despite the Jets offensive struggles, LeVeon Bell remains an offensive threat on the field and in fantasy. He had 15 carries for 70 yards on Monday and one catch for 6 yards. The biggest concern is the number of touches over the last two weeks which is below where the Jets need him. They have been under 20 the past two games and probably should have Bell getting between 20-25 per game.

Bell will face the Jaguars who are 22nd in aFPA to running backs. This is a very good opportunity for the Jets to forget last week's offensive embarrassment and get Bell back to the workload he should be getting.

Start Bell in all leagues and formats. He ranks a low-end RB1 in standard leagues, but higher in PPR leagues for Week 8.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs New England
Leveon Bell had one of his more quiet games with only 15 touches and a modest 53 total yards. For the most part, he has been getting more in each category. The Jets want to use Bell as much as possible so expect him to back over 20 touches this week.

It won't be easy against the Patriots who are 3rd in aFPA to running backs. But Bell gets enough touches to be a factor in Week 7.

Start Bell in all leagues and formats as a solid RB1 against New England in primetime. He should have a good outing even if the Jets don't.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Dallas
LeVeon Bell had 22 touches last week for 88 yards. Of course, the amount of touches is good. Four yards per touch not so much. Bell also only has one touchdown on the season, so we are not seeing the Steelers LeVeon Bell although most people predicted that. What we are seeing is a running back who gets a lot of touches for a bad offense.

Bell will have a great matchup this week against Dallas who is 29th in aFPA to running backs. He will also be aided by the fact his starting quarterback Sam Darnold will be back in the lineup. So, a lot of positives this week, but we still can't rank him any higher than an RB2 in standard leagues for Week 6. However, he ranks a low-end RB1 for PPR leagues as the Jets have used him a lot in the passing game.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Philadelphia
The Jets are coming off a bye week and hope to get the offense on track. One issue is at quarterback where Sam Darnold is still out. The affects LeVeon Bell who is off to a very average start. He has been good in the passing game but is only averaging 2.9 yards per carry in the running game.

Bell will face the Eagles defense that is 13th in aFPA to running backs. Bell is getting touches but the results have been subpar mainly because the Jets offense has been bad.

Bell is still a low-end RB1 in PPR leagues but a low-end RB2 in standard leagues. The Jets need to get him going in the running game but that might not happen until Darnold returns.

NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at New England
In his second game with New York, LeVeon Bell put up Steeler-like numbers for the Jets. He had 31 touches for 129 yards and was on the field a lot again. The touches are likely to stay where they are but the production should take a dip as the quarterback situation is not good for the Jets. Third-string quarterback Luke Falk will get his first career start so all New York players fantasy value will take a hit.

The matchup for Bell is decent as the Patriots were ranked only 24th in aFPA to running backs in 2018. We expect Bell to still have good numbers, just not like Week 2. Start Bell as high-end RB2 against New England. Until QB Sam Darnold returns, Bell will have some issues as will the Jets offense.

Friday, September 20, 2019 - 11:23am
NYJ RB LeVeon Bell - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Cleveland
LeVeon Bell had a pretty good start to his Jets career with 23 touches for 92 yards and a touchdown. His value is very good in PPR leagues because the Jets did use him as in a similar way as the Steelers used to. One issue was Bell did injure his shoulder but he is expected to play Monday.

Bell will face the Browns who are 21st in aFPA to running backs after the first week. The Jets might have to rely even more on Bell as QB Sam Darnold will not play. This hurts his value because Cleveland knows the Jets will have to ride Bell.

Bell is still a good play for Week 2, but probably only a high-end RB2. He will get the touches but it will be hard to have great results with the Browns game-planning to stop him will be their main priority.
