Week 13 Cleveland Browns
It looks like Demaryius Thomas has taken over the Texans WR hole vacated by the injured Will Fuller after he recorded two TDs last Monday night. In the win over Tennessee, Keke Coutee saw just two looks and registered two seven-yard receptions before reaggravating his hamstring. The Browns haven’t been able to slow down anyone’s passing attack but Coutee is more of a WR4 play if he's able to play.
Week 12 vs. Tennessee Titans
After missing the previous contest in Week 9 due to a sore hamstring, Keke Coutee was back on the field at Washington last Sunday. He was targeted a team-high nine times, leading to five grabs for 77 yards – his highest yardage since his NFL debut at the end of September. The Titans struggled against the Colts passing attack last week, so consider Coutee a WR3/flex start.
Week 11 at Washington Redskins
Keke Coutee missed his second straight game in two weeks due to a lingering hamstring injury. He’s had an extra week to get healthy and should be on the field versus the Redskins. However, now that Demaryius Thomas is on Houston, Coutee will remain the team’s third WR. Washington is No. 25 versus the pass, but Coutee should be considered no more than a flex play.
Week 9 at Denver Broncos
After missing last Thursday night’s win over the Dolphins due to re-aggravating a hamstring injury, Keke Coutee should be back on Sunday. With Will Fuller lost for the rest of the season, look for the rookie to become a bigger part of the Houston aerial attack, especially this week with Demaryius Thomas still learning the new system. The Broncos are allowing less than 240 passing yards per game, making Coutee a WR3/flex option if he’s able to play.
Week 7 at Jacksonville Jaguars
In Keke Coutee’s first two NFL games, he collected 17 receptions for 160 yards and a TD. Last Sunday in the comeback win versus Buffalo he was held to three grabs for 33 yards, as the Houston offense struggled to move the ball at home. Houston will be facing another tough pass defense this week, making Coutee a WR3/flex play.
Week 6 vs. Buffalo Bills
After catching 11 passes in his NFL debut two weeks ago, Keke Coutee followed that up with his first career TD last Sunday night against Dallas. In the overtime win, he was targeted seven times, leading to six grabs for 51 yards and the short score. Coutee has received a lot more looks than Will Fuller since being activated, a trend that will likely continue. The Bills have the sixth best defense in the league, but Coutee should be used as a WR3/flex play at home.
Week 5 vs. Dallas Cowboys
What an NFL debut Keke Coutee had last week in Indy. After missing the first three regular season games due to a hamstring injury, Coutee was targeted a team-high 15 times by Deshaun Watson and he torched the Colts for 11 grabs and 109 yards. Watson threw 42 passes against the Colts, so over a third of them went in the direction of the rookie from Texas Tech. Of course, it helped that Will Fuller missed some time with an injured hamstring. Coutee will be facing a tougher pass defense in the Cowboys on Sunday night, making him a WR3/flex play.
