PIT TE Jesse James - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Philadelphia
James finished last week with just three catches for 29 yards working in the rain, but did haul in a touchdown. Ben Roethlisberger likes the 6'7" tight end in the red zone. He's not a starting quality tight end, however. Philadelphia has given up four catches for 33 yards to opposing tight ends.

PIT TE Jesse James - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Cincinnati
James had seven targets last week and managed five catches but for just 31 yards. That said, Cincinnati played a ton of cover-2 last season against the Steelers, leaving Heath Miller to catch a combined 20 passes for 171 yards in two regular season meetings last year. James should again get plenty of work this week, though it might not be for a lot of yards. He's not starting fantasy material unless you're playing in a PPR and your starter is injured.

PIT TE Jesse James - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Washington
Washington allowed just four TE touchdowns in 2015. James will be a red zone target for Ben Roethlisberger, but is unlikely to be a high-volume play. Keep him on your bench this week in all formats.

PIT TE Jesse James - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Cincinnati
James saw most of the action last week with Heath Miller sidelined with a rib injury that could see him sit out again this week. James had three catches for 30 yards last week, all in the first quarter. But Pittsburgh's tight ends had 11 receptions for 109 yards in their previous meeting this year. Keep an eye on James this week if Miller does not play.
