NO TE Jared Cook - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Falcons

Jared Cook has all but disappeared from the Saints' offense. He's only playing about 30-35 percent of snaps lately and has eight targets, three catches and 36 yards in the last four weeks, including two goose eggs. In Week 11 against the Falcons, Cook had just one catch for six yards. He's a backend TE2. in a crucial time of the fantasy season,

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Broncos

Cook has quickly quieted down in New Orleans' offense, seeing six total targets over the last three weeks and has just three catches for 36 yards in that span. And this is between both Drew Brees and Taysom Hill. Hill is likely either targeting Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara for the most part. Cook is a back-end TE2 this week.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Falcons

Cook put up a big goose egg last week on just two targets. Cook was fairly quiet all season long and that's with Brees. The offense is quite the wild card this week with Taysom Hill at quarterback. And Hill can play TE himself. Cook may be in for another quiet day against the Falcons.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs 49ers

Cook's touchdown streak came to an end in Week 9 as he posted his fourth game of just two catches. In fact, his last two games against the 49ers have resulted in two catches and two targets each. Of course, in 2019, those two catches both resulted in touchdowns. Perhaps history repeats itself?

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Buccaneers

Just like last season, Cook needed some time to get warmed up but has been on a good streak lately. Cook has now scored in three straight games and he's facing the Bucs this week, whom he had 80 yards against in Week 1 and had a touchdown in each game with Tampa last season. Brees is likely going to keep looking Cook's way as New Orleans tries to take over first place in the division.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Bears

Cook didn't see many targets on Sunday (four) but scored a touchdown for the second straight game. That streak could continue against a middle-of-the-road defense against opposing tight ends and with the wide-receiver room looking limited again for this week. Cook is again a top-10 option at tight end.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Panthers

Cook is now on a stretch of three straight games with two receptions. On the flip side, he also has two touchdowns in those three games. The Saints offense allows Cook to have upside at the tight end position in fantasy. We'll see if his targets bump up. He only has seen three targets in each of the last two games.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs Lions

Keep a close eye on Cook this week in practice. He missed Wednesday's session with a groin injury and it's possible he doesn't play Sunday, which would allow rookie Adam Trautman to step into the starting lineup. Cook, for the moment, is our TE13 in half-PPR.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Packers

One of the biggest surprises of Week 2 was Jared Cook having a very quiet game against the Raiders. He caught just two of his five targets for just 13 yards but did find the end zone. Overall, it was a rough day for the Saints offense and it doesn't get much easier against Green Bay, who has been pretty stout thus far against opposing tight ends. No tight ends have scored yet against the Packers. The Saints really need Cook in this one. He clocks in as our TE10 this week.

NO TE Jared Cook - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Raiders

One of Drew Brees' favorite targets just became even more of a favorite. Cook received seven targets in Week 1 and that usage will only continue to hold steady or even grow more with no Michael Thomas. He'll have a great chance to build on his 5-80-0 line from Week 1. Look for more targets for our No. 4 TE this week.
