Week 17 vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles have locked up home-field advantage in the postseason, and head coach Doug Pederson has indicated his offensive starters will not play the entire game Week 17. For that reason, Jake Elliott is not a good starting option this week, as the Eagles will likely not have as many scoring opportunities.
Week 16 vs. Oakland Raiders
The Eagles play Christmas night (Monday), and anybody with Eagles players must be aware that Doug Pederson has hinted this week of resting starters if/when the Eagles lock up home field advantage. If the Vikings lose Saturday (a long shot at Green Bay without Aaron Rodgers), the Eagles will have already done that. Otherwise, the Eagles currently have the third-highest team total in Vegas this week, making Jake Elliott a top-10 starting option at his position in Week 16.
Week 15 at New York Giants
The Eagles still have an implied team total in Vegas in the top half of teams this week despite starting back-up QB Nick Foles, and the loss of their starting QB could mean more drives stall before reaching the end zone. Jake Elliott is still a starting kicker option in Week 15.
Week 14 at Los Angeles Rams
The Eagles-Rams game has the third-highest over/under in Vegas this week at 48 points; however, the Eagles implied team total is middle of the pack. Elliott is a lower-end starting option for this week, and you should see if there are options ranked higher available in your league.
Week 13 at Seattle Seahawks
The Eagles have the fourth-highest implied team total of the week at 26.25 points, which is always a good spot to start a kicker. In his last two healthy games, Elliott has attempted 11 extra points in this high powered offense. Perhaps some of those turn into field goal attempts against a tougher defense.
Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears
Jake Elliott suffered a concussion on the opening kickoff last week but reportedly will play this week against the Bears. With the elite level of the Eagles offense, that again makes Elliott a starting option for Week 12. The Bears are also below-average in aFPA against kickers this season.
Week 11 at Dallas Cowboys
Take away Week 1, where Jake Elliott wasn't on the team yet, and he's averaging top-five fantasy points per game among kickers. Plus, Vegas has the Eagles with an implied team total of 26.25, fourth-highest for Week 11. Fire up some Elliott.
Week 9 vs. Denver Broncos
Jake Elliott has made at least 2 field goals in every game this season. Combine that with the Eagles' high-powered offense and extra point opportunities and Elliott remains a top-five option at his position in Week 9.
Week 8 vs. San Francisco
On a points per game basis, Jake Elliott has been the third-best kicker in fantasy football. Continue to start him, especially Week 8, where the Eagles have the highest implied total in Vegas at near 30 points.
Week 7 vs. Washington
Jake Eliott has established himself as a top-five fantasy kicker this season, having made at least 2 field goals in every game. In this high-powered Eagles offense, he's a start again this week against Washington, as the Eagles' 26.75-point implied total is second only to the Patriots this week.
