DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14: Bryant vs Bears

Dez Bryant's touchdown streak of four games ended against Philly on Thanksgiving and he only hauled in four catches. But this was more because of the off day Tony Romo had against the Eagles defense than anything Bryant did.

The Bears are 20th in aFPA to wide receivers so we expect a very good outing Thursday night by Bryant. He is rated a top 5 fantasy wide receivers and as long as Romo has him in his sights, we should see better numbers this week from Bryant. He remains a must start in all formats.

Week 13: Bryant vs Eagles

Dez Bryant had another strong game this past Sunday night as he found the end zone two more times and had seven receptions. Bryant now has six touchdown catches in his last four games. He is winning a lot of one-on-one matchups in the red zone.

Bryant should be feasting on the Eagles defense this Thanksgiving as the Birds are dead last in aFPA to wide receivers in the NFL. Bryant is the No. 1 overall fantasy wide receiver for Week 13.

Week 12: Bryant vs Giants

Dez Bryant had a big game in London two weeks ago. A season-high 158 yards and two touchdowns which was his first multi-score game of the season. He has four touchdowns in his last three games. There is no doubt that Bryant is tied at the hip to QB Tony Romo. With Romo out, Bryant's numbers suffered.

The Giants are the ranked 1st in aFPA to wide receivers and the matchup is a tough one, but that shouldn't scare you off Bryant. Dez should still have a big game on MNF. Start him in all leagues as a top 5 receiver.

Week 10: Bryant vs Jaguars

Dez Bryant owners want to hear only one thing: QB Tony Romo is back. And that should be the case in London this Sunday. Bryant struggled with Brandon Weeden at quarterback, but he did score a touchdown for the second straight game which has been needed because he only had five catches during that stretch. However, the targets are there (17 in two weeks), but the connection was definitely not with Weeden.

Lots of factors are in play this week for all the Cowboys skill players: a trip to London, Romo's back and the Jaguars defense has been decent against wide receivers (aFPA 15th). Start Bryant for Week 10, but as a low-end WR1.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Bryant vs Cardinals
Dez Bryant had a season-low three catches and 30 receiving yards, but he save the week with his fifth TD of the season and first in three weeks. Although we think this performance is an anomaly, the Tony Romo injury weighs in.

Even if Romo doesn't play, Bryant is still a strong play every week. It is actually a very favorable matchup for him against the Cardinals who are 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. No matter who starts at QB, expect some big numbers from Bryant in Week 9 as he is one of the top fantasy options at the position.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Bryant vs Redskins
The numbers are good for Dez Bryant as the targets keep coming and last week he had a season-high 151 receiving yards. The only issue is touchdowns. It was the second straight week without a trip to the end zone and it seems Terrance Williams has become Tony Romo's favorite target in the red zone.

Still, the numbers will keep coming and this week should be no exception. Bryant faces a Redskins defense that is 29th in aFPA to wide receivers. He seems to thrive against all defenses, but this week he is a top 5 fantasy wide receiver. Start him in all leagues for Week 8.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Bryant vs Giants
Dez Bryant only had four catches last week against Richard Sherman and the Seahawks. No worries as he still was targeted 10 times. Obviously, Bryant is the playmaker that Tony Romo likes best.

On paper, the matchup is a tough one for Bryant as the Giants are 7th in aFPA to wide receivers. That shouldn't be enough to keep him from having a big game. Start Bryant in all leagues and formats as a top 5 fantasy receiver.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Bryant vs. Seahawks
Dez Bryant scored a touchdown for the fourth straight game and had a season-high 14 targets. He also had nine catches, but did not eclipse the 100-yard receiving mark.

Bryant will have a tough matchup this week against the Seahawks defense. But he seems to thrive in big games like this. If you own Bryant, you're starting him regardless of matchup.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Bryant vs. Texans
The targets for Dez Bryant were low again, and although he did score a touchdown for the third straight week. You have to wonder when Tony Romo is going to start getting the ball to his top playmaker more.

The Texans defense has been average against wide receivers this year, so if Romo targets Bryant like he did in Week 2, big numbers are coming for Dez. Start him in all leagues and hope for a top 5 performance.

DAL WR Dez Bryant - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Bryant vs Saints
After a strong Week 2, Dez Bryant was still relevant last week against the Rams. He scored a TD for the second straight and had 89 yards receiving. Bryant still has the nagging shoulder injury, but he should be able to play through it again.

New Orelans defense has been pretty good at holding down top receivers so far this season. But that shouldn't affect Bryant too much on Sunday. Start him in all leagues and formats as a top 5 receiver for Week 4.
