Week 13 vs. Denver Broncos
Miami-Denver has the lowest over/under in Vegas for Week 13, with the Dolphins only expected to score 19 points. Plus, you simply just can't trust DeVante Parker at this point in the season. An arguement could be made to make him a FLEX play with Jay Cutler back and Aqib Talib suspended, but he hasn't reached 80 yards or scored a touchdown since returning from injury. It's a huge gamble if you need the win this week to make the fantasy playoffs.
Week 12 at New England Patriots
DeVante Parker had his worst healthy game of the season last week, but the targets were still there with 9. His targets since returning from injury: 8-9-9. Parker has two 100-yard games against the Patriots in his career, and this season, New England is only 27th in aFPA vs. WRs. Plus, the Dolphins are a 17-point road underdog, which means the targets should be there again for Parker. He's a solid FLEX option in Week 12.
Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
These are DeVante Parker's targets in his healthy games this season: 9-10-8-8-9. That would tie him for 12th with Doug Baldwin and Demaryius Thomas in targets per game. Jay Cutler is looking his way often and his matchup this week is great. Tampa Bay is just 30th in our aFPA vs. WR rankings. Consider Parker a WR2 with upside in Week 11.
Week 10 at Carolina Panthers
DeVante Parker has 46% of all Dolphins air yards in his four healthy games. To put that in perspective, Antonio Brown leads all wide receivers at 46% this year. Plus, Parker has seen 8-10 targets in each of his healthy games. He's certainly developed a rapport with Jay Cutler, and with negative game script expected, Parker is a viable WR2 in Week 10.
Week 9 vs. Oakland Raiders
With Jay Ajayi gone and the Dolphins struggling to stay competitive, expect more negative game script in DeVante Parker's return from an ankle injury. You'd like to see him perform first if you have WR depth, before inserting him back into starting lineups, but the matchup is good against a Raiders team ranked 24th in our PPR WR rankings. Parker has averaged 6 receptions and more than 70 yards in his three healthy games but some of that production came in garbage time. He's on the WR2 radar this week, albeit with some risk.
Week 8 at Baltimore Ravens
Monitor DeVante Parker's status before Thursday night with his ankle injury. He's looking more likely to return this week, but be sure to check our rankings 30 minutes before kickoff.
Week 7 vs. New York Jets
DeVante Parker (ankle) has not practiced this week. He is unlikely to play Week 7, but monitor his status to make sure before kickoffs Sunday.
Week 6 at Atlanta Falcons
The Dolphins are a dumpster fire. This offense is only averaging 10 points per game, and now this week, the offensive line coach was forced to resign after a video surfaced of him snorting a white powdery substance in his office! And now Parker has not practiced this week (ankle). It's not looking good. If he plays, he's a risky WR2, but you should have more reliable options ready.
Week 5 vs. Tennessee Titans
Despite a putrid offense that has looked bad against the Jets and Saints (of all teams), DeVante Parker is still WR14 in PPR this season and WR16 in standard leagues on a per game basis. He gets the best matchup possible this week against a Titans defense ranked 32nd in our aFPA vs. PPR WR rankings, and he gets them at home. Parker is averaging 9 targets per game, making him a high-end WR2 this week, with upside from there.
Week 4 vs. New Orleans Saints (game in London)
DeVante Parker was a garbage time hero last week, gaining most of his yards playing from behind against the Jets in the fourth quarter and he scored a touchdown with no time left on the clock. This week? The fantasy gift that keeps on giving: the Saints defense. Parker is a WR1 in standard and high-end WR2 in PPR leagues, as the Saints have allowed the 10th-most points to opposing WRs (PPR).
