CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
In his first game as the starter, C. J. Uzomah had two catches for 43 yards. It was the only two times he was targeted.

The Bengals will face the Steelers who are 27th in aFPA to tight ends and that means a favorable matchup for Uzomah. We don't expect him to receive the targets or receptions that Tyler Eifert was getting, but he is a decent TE2 for Week 6 and is good to have as tight end depth on your roster.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Miami Dolphins
With Tyler Eifert on the shelf again, it's C.J. Uzomah's turn to get some fantasy numbers. He only has seven catches in the first four games, but that will change. Uzomah was already on the field for 50% of the snaps before last week and he ended up playing 70% with Eifert going down.

Uzomah will face a Dolphins defense that has been tough on tight ends. But we expect him to have some success in upcoming games. Week 5 he rates a TE2 so keep him on the bench, but he definitely could be a sleeper.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Cleveland
Tyler Eifert could be coming back soon, but probably not this week. In the meantime, C.J. Uzomah will continue to see some balls thrown his way. However, last week he was only targeted twice and ended up with just one catch. He isn't on the radar for fantasy consideration and can be left on the bench this week.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New England
C.J. Uzomah continues to be the starting tight end with Tyler Eifert still out of the lineup. He caught five passes for 43 yards. The targets have been fairly consistent for Uzomah, about five a game and we don't expect that to change any time soon.

Uzomah has been helping the Bengals offensively but not enough to be considered a fantasy option at tight end.

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Dallas
This week brought more bad news for starting TE Tyler Eifert, as he continues to struggle with injury. That means C.J. Uzomah will continue to get the bulk of the snaps at tight end. For the season, Uzomah has 11 receptions for 144 yards. He isn't a great option, but could be a sleeper this week against a Dallas defense that ranks 30th in aFPA to tight ends in 2016.

The problem with playing Uzomah is he has no track record for putting up big numbers. There are definitely better options in Week 5.
