Week 10 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Sammy Watkins hasn't been practicing this week, which opens the door for Chris Conley to be the WR2. Conley isn't a bad receiver, but we doubt he'll have the same impact as Watkins. He might make a few receptions, but not enough to be relevant for fantasy.
Week 4 vs. Washington
Chris Conley didn't have a catch last week, and only has 6 receptions all season long. With Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce on the team, there's not much opportunity for other players. It's best to avoid Conley in fantasy.
Week 3 at Los Angeles Chargers
The Chiefs need someone other than Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Kareem Hunt to make plays, and Chris Conley is that man. He saw 4 targets last week, catching them all for 55 yards. Obviously, those stats aren't too appealing in fantasy, which is why Conley shouldn't be viewed as a strong option. He mainly just gets left with the scraps of K.C.'s offense.
Week 1 vs. New England Patriots
Chris Conley draws the start in Week 1 against the Patriots, but that doesn't mean much. The third-year receiver moves into a starting role with the departure of Jeremy Maclin, but recent history tells us anyone besides Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce won't get much love in this Chiefs offense.
Conley can be ignored for fantasy purposes.
Week 13 vs. Atlanta
Chris Conley isn't getting enough attention to warrant fantasy consideration. He's been held under 30 yards in six of his last seven games, and there's nothing about this matchup to hype him up.
Week 12 vs. Denver
Chris Conley is seeing more playing time with Jeremy Maclin out, but hasn't increased his production a whole lot. His low numbers should continue this week in a brutal matchup against the Broncos, so Conley should be off the fantasy radar.
Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay
Even with Jeremy Maclin out, Chris Conley was hardly used last week as he caught just one pass. We like his matchup this week, but there's no reason to like Conley as a fantasy option given his low production.
Week 10 vs. Carolina
Chris Conley will see an increase in playing time if Jeremy Maclin misses this week. But even if that's the case, don't expect huge numbers from the young receiver, even in a favorable matchup. Conley's been pretty average all season long, and if he has a breakout game, it'd be his first.
Week 7 vs. New Orleans
Chris Conley is starting to get more involved in the Chiefs offense as the second receiver, but he's still not a great option on a weekly basis. He could be a plug-and-start player this week in a favorable matchup against the Saints, but he'd be a hard option to fully trust. He's been held to less than 50 yards in every game but one this season.
Week 2 vs. Houston
Chris Conley finished 4-for-43 in Week 1 on seven targets, which was a little surprising. But Alex Smith threw for 48 times, which may have inflated his stats. Conley is the No. 2 WR in Kansas City, but that's not saying much. We don't expect him to have much of an impact moving forward.
