LA QB Case Keenum - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Tampa Bay
Case Keenum completed 18-of-30 passes for 239 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Rams’ 9-3 victory over the Seahawks in Week 2. It was the second straight week that the Rams failed to reach the end zone, but thanks to an outstanding defensive effort, they were able to beat a banged up Seattle team. Despite facing single coverage on the outsides with the Seahawks stacking the box to slow down Todd Gurley, Keenum was unable to find the end zone. Jeff Fisher remains confident that Keenum will improve, but we have him ranked as our QB32 for Week 3 despite facing a Buccaneers team that is weak in the secondary.

LA QB Case Keenum - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Seattle
Case Keenum was dreadful in the Rams Week 1 loss to the 49ers on Monday night, completing just 17-of-35 passes for 130 yards with two interceptions. Keenum was so bad that Jeff Fisher admitted after the game that he considered benching the quarterback for backup Sean Mannion. Fisher, who is somehow on the verge of receiving a contract extension despite below average results with the Rams, also indicated that Keenum remains his starting quarterback.

Out of the 32 quarterbacks that we ranked for Week 2, Keenum is listed at No. 32. Avoid him and every Rams player that isn't Todd Gurley.

STL QB Case Keenum - Week 17, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at San Francisco
Case Keenum completed 14-of-23 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 16 win over the Seahawks. His lone touchdown pass came on a 28-yard toss to Kenny Britt, who beat Richard Sherman on the play. Keenum once again was asked to manage the game and for a third-straight week, that's exactly what he did while guiding the Rams to an upset win over the Seahawks in Seattle. But despite leading St. Louis to another victory, Keenum holds no fantasy value. He ranks as our QB32 for Week 17 and should be avoided.

STL QB Case Keenum - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Seattle
Case Keenum completed 14-of-17 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams Week 15 win over the Buccaneers. Keenum was efficient, showing more pocket awareness and accuracy than Nick Foles did at any point this season. He completed a 60-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Britt in the first quarter and has now led the Rams to back-to-back wins. That said, he faces a Seattle defense on Sunday that ranks No. 3 against fantasy quarterbacks this season. Ranked as our QB32, avoid Keenum in Week 16.

STL QB Case Keenum - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Tampa Bay
Case Keenum completed 14-of-22 passes for 124 yards with one interception in the Rams Week 14 win over the Lions. Keenum benefited greatly from St. Louis' stout defense and Todd Gurley's 147-yard performance, but he nevertheless moved the offense more efficiently than Nick Foles. That said, while he successfully managed the game for the Rams, Keenum isn't an option in any fantasy format, regardless of the matchup. Leave him on your waiver wire.

STL QB Case Keenum - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Detroit
Case Keenum will draw the start for the Rams on Sunday when they host the Lions. Keenum missed the Bengals game two weeks ago after suffering a concussion in a Week 11 loss to the Ravens, and even though he was cleared to play late last week, he didn't start against the Cardinals because he did receive enough practice reps. In his lone start this season, Keenum completed 12-of-26 passes for 136 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions. He ranks as our QB32 for Week 14, so avoid him at all costs.

STL QB Case Keenum - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Baltimore
Nick Foles has been benched for Case Keenum, who will start Sunday for the Rams when they travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. Coach Jeff Fisher hopes that Keenum will provide a spark for one of the NFL's least efficient passing games. Keenum might provide some real football value to a Rams passing attack that couldn't possible be any unproductive, but he holds zero fantasy value. Ranked as our QB25 for Week 11, avoid Keenum vs. the Ravens.

HOU QB Case Keenum - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Case Kenum vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Playing in his first game of the season last week against the Ravens, Case Keenum performed well enough to get the win. He finished 20-of-42 for 185 yards and one INT. The team’s passing TD actually came on a halfback pass by Arian Foster to TE C.J. Fiedorowicz. With the Texans running for 169 yards at Jacksonville in Week 14, Ryan Fitzpatrick only passed for 135 yards. Despite the good matchup, Keenum makes for a low-end QB2 play in the season finale.

HOU QB Case Keenum - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Case Keenum vs. Baltimore Ravens
Welcome back to Houston, Case Keenum. After being on the Rams practice squad this season, Keenum was signed by the Texans earlier this week and will be the team's fourth QB to play in the past month. The good news is that he's familiar with the offense, starting eight games last season. In those eight contests, he completed 54 percent of his passes for over 1,700 yards with nine TDs and six picks. While the Ravens have struggled at stopping the pass, Keenum is just too risky of an option to warrant a fantasy start at such a crucial time in your season.
