When I look at the ranking reports (top 200, standard or ppr) I am a little confused?
WR dominate these days, especially with the lack of confidence at the rb position but when I look at the 4 for 4 rankings it has 20 rbs in the top 30 and only 7 wr? What am I missing or why confused? Your rankings lists say the top 5 in rankings as rbs but I think most experts have Brown, Jones, Beckham all wr as top 3 and maybe as many as 7 wr in top 10.

I did, I went and saw what you were talking about with the 2.5 and the 2.5 for both positions. My guess is that way just values RBs more even though the numbers are the same - probably because it sees that starting two WRs will make more of them available later in drafts where RBs will be valued more early on. Kind of makes sense I guess.

So I did the same thing and put the 1.7 and 3.3 and thought that may be more of what you're thinking. If you're going to use a WR as a flex, which seems like a good idea, keeping it at this setting makes sense - at least I think. And, it's just closer to what we're preaching at the site, which I think you pointed out in your original question.

I think I know what you mean here... but my question is maybe the settings - when you put them in at the top - affected the list?

I have to admit, I haven't really looked at the top 200, I mostly look at position rankings and then the ADP. So, I'd have to check it out for myself. But I would mess around with the numbers at the top and put more emphasis on the WRs, maybe 3.3 and then 1.7 for RBs, something like that, and see what the results are.

Putting more emphasis on WRs would also fit the zero RB strategy as well. I would think that would give you more fitting results for going that direction.

Thanks Scott....and did you take a look yet?
my league is 2 rb and 2 wr and 1 te with a wr/rb/te flex......so in settings I had rb as 2.5 and wr as 2.5
I tried your idea to see and did rb 1.7 and wr 3.3 and it looks much closer to maybe what I expected.
Just seems odd to have to skew the settings much different from my league settings (which is pretty standard). Let me know if you came up with anything else and thanks again

Additionally with the zero RB strategy being looked at hard these days, the rankings report if used as a draft guide would be the opposite. I am sure I am missing something....help
