Scouting report

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Seattle
Travis Fulgham has cooled off with only two receptions over the past two games. Part of the issue is the play of QB Carson Wentz, but with a bunch of players getting healthy, the Eagles have more options in the passing game.

It's a great matchup for Fulgham as Seattle is ranked 31st in aFPA to wide receivers. The magic seems to be gone as the league has discovered Fulgham and has started to pay attention.

Keep Fulgham on the bench for Week 12. The Eagles have been unstable at the quarterback position and even with the favorable matchup, Philly's passing game is in question.

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Cleveland

After a four-game stretch that saw Travis Fulgham with almost 378 receiving yards, he was held to one catch for eight yards in Week 10. A lot of this has to do with the overall struggles of QB Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense. But the Eagles are getting healthy at the offensive skill positions and even though Fulgham is still the No. 1 wide receiver, the ball is getting spread around more which could dig into his targets.

Fulgham will face the Browns this Sunday who are ranked 28th in aFPA to wide receivers. Cleveland's pass defense has struggled all season so this is a great opportunity for the Eagles to break out of their offensive funk. However, they still actually have to show it on the field which hasn't happened this season.

Fulgham ranks a low-end WR3 or flex at best. The only reason you should consider playing him is the matchup is very favorable. Philly's offense has low-confidence right now and that affects Fulgham's value.

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Giants
Travis Fulgham has had 41 targets over the last four games. That number should dip with the return of Alshon Jeffery and the return of Jalen Reager a couple of weeks ago. However, we still think Fulgham will be the Eagles No. 1 receiver as he has produced with the opportunities given to him.

Fulgham faces the Giants who are ranked 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. He had five receptions for 73 yards in the first meeting this season and can easily achieve those type of numbers again this week. The Giants secondary has struggled overall.

Start Fulgahm, but only as a high-end WR3 or flex in both standard and PPR leagues. Until we see the numbers dramatically drop, he still remains the best option in the passing game.

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Dallas
Travis Fulgham had a third-straight week of double-digit targets and is probably going to end up being the best in-season pick up for teams that managed to grab him after the Pittsburgh game. In those three games, Fulgham has 21 receptions for 300 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Not bad for a practice squad player.

Fulgham will face the Cowboys who are 28th in aFPA to wide receivers. The Dallas defense is in bad shape right now and we expect the Eagles offense to keep improving. Rookie Jalen Reagor is expected to return which could cut into Fulgham a little bit.

Start Fulgham as low-end WR2 in both standard and PPR leagues. Obviously, he isn't a top tier receiver yet, but he is the Eagles No. 1 target in the passing game. His numbers should still be consistent week to week.

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New York Giants
After a breakout in Week 6, Travis Fulgham responded with another solid game. He has double-digit targets over the last two games and touchdowns over the last three. He basically has become a fantasy sensation overnight and we don't expect him to slow down because the Eagles are down two tight ends, two wide receivers and their starting running back.

Fulgham will face the Giants who are 16th in aFPA to wide receivers. If the targets keep coming, he should continue to put up good numbers. However, the league will also adjust to him which could bring him back down to earth a little bit.

Start Fulgham for Week 7 as a WR3 or flex. High expectations will be there but will be dampened by the reality that the Eagles offense is hurt right now and opportunities are there but Fulgham could be the focus for New York on Thursday.

PHI WR Travis Fulgham - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Baltimore
Where did that come from? We have to admit we didn't even write about Travis Fulgham last week and I only remember hearing his name is passing once or twice from Eagles pundits. But he put on a show in Pittsburgh. He was targeted 13 times, caught 10 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was his second in two weeks so he actually didn't come out of nowhere, but the breakout game was shocking as the Steelers had no answer.

Here is the problem. The Ravens will watch the tape. And their defense is better, ranked third in aFPA to wide receivers. Although everyone jumped to waiver wire to pick up Fulgham this week (and that's not a bad idea), don't expect numbers even close to last week.

In fact, sit Fulgham for Week 6 because of the matchup and the fact he won't suprise anyone this time around.
