ATL WR Roddy White - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: White vs. Lions
Roddy White caught 9-of-15 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 7 loss to the Ravens. Patient fantasy owners who stuck with White were rewarded with a solid line, as the Ravens decided to bracket Julio Jones in coverage and force Atlanta’s other receivers to beat them. That led to a huge day by White, who still doesn’t look like the same productive receiver he’s been throughout his career. We wouldn’t count on this type of production every week, but if opponents take a page out of Baltimore’s book then White should continue to see plenty of targets. He’s our No. 21 overall WR for Week 8, albeit against a tough Detroit defense. Consider him a low-end WR2.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: White vs. Ravens
Roddy White caught three passes for 40 yards after he was targeted six times in the Falcons' Week 6 loss to the Bears. It was yet another disappointing fantasy day for the veteran receiver, as Chicago's defenders punished White with a couple of bone-crushing hits throughout the game. Frustrated owners should resist pulling him out of their lineups, however, as he has a nice matchup against Baltimore on Sunday. If the offensive line can keep Matt Ryan upright for once (which apparently is a big request), the passing game should get going again. Consider White a low-end WR2 as he ranks as our No. 22 overall WR for Week 7.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: White vs. Bears
Roddy White caught just 2-of-4 targets for 26 yards in the Falcons' Week 5 loss to the Giants. So much for that touchdown that Roddy guaranteed last week. Julio Jones was targeted a whopping 16 times and continues to be the focal point of Atlanta's pass-first offense. Still, there should be plenty of targets to go around and yet White's production has been suppressed Health doesn't seem to be a problem considering he got extra work in practice last week, but for whatever reason he doesn't look like that consistent fantasy producer of years past. That said, he has a great matchup on Sunday versus the Bears and that prompted us to rank him as our No. 13 WR for Week 6. Get him in your lineup.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: White vs. Giants
Roddy White was targeted a team-high 14 times in the Falcons' Week 4 loss to the Vikings, catching four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. While his catch total was disappointing considering he was targeted as much as he was, fantasy owners had to be pleased with the yardage and touchdown output. Perhaps more importantly, White's hamstring injury was a non-issue and he even practiced on Wednesday this week, which has been a rarity for the veteran. Despite a tough matchup on the road this week versus the Giants, White is a low-end WR2 and ranks as our No. 20 overall WR for Week 5. Get him in your lineup.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: White vs. Vikings
Roddy White didn't dress in the Falcons' 56-14 win over the Buccaneers last week due to a hamstring injury. He did practice for two straight days this week, albeit on a limited basis. He says he's ready to play on Sunday and seeing as how he did practice, we feel confident White will play at Minnesota. He currently ranks as our No. 24 overall WR for Week 4, making him a low-end WR2. A bit of a risk due to the hamstring, White should be in your lineup for Sunday.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

White vs. Bucs
Roddy White caught 5-of-8 targets for 42 yards in the Falcons' Week 2 loss to the Bengals. It was a disappointing follow up to a 6-72-1 performance in Week 1, but Atlanta's offense never got in sync as QB Matt Ryan was treated like a rag doll by his own offensive line. White also suffered a hamstring in the injury and didn't practice on Monday or Tuesday. The Falcons say they're not concerned about the veteran, who doesn't need to practice to see the field on Thursday night against the Bucs. Monitor his situation leading up to kickoff and if he's good to go, get him in your lineup as a WR2. If he's ruled out, grab Harry Douglas as a fallback option, as Douglas will be thrust into the No. 2 role in Atlanta's offense. White currently ranks as our No. 22 overall WR for Week 3.

ATL WR Roddy White - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: White vs. Bengals
Roddy White caught five of his six targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' Week 1 win over the Saints. He suffered a scare right before halftime when he banged his knee hard on the ground after coming up with an incredible leaping catch, but he returned in the second half. He was limited in practice this week but appears to be set to go for Sunday's game versus the Bengals. He's a trustworthy WR2 on a weekly basis and is our No. 19 overall WR for Week 2.
