Scouting report

BUF RB Karlos Williams - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Bengals
Karlos Williams is expected to be out again with a concussion. If for some reason he plays, his value is still low and you should find other options for Week 6.

BUF RB Karlos Williams - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs New York Giants
Another Bills player who was not on many people's radar before the season, rookie Karlos Williams has been fantasy gold. He gets a great opportunity with LeSean McCoy out and has already shown some value has his backup. Williams rushed for 110 yards last week and has a touchdown in every game this season.

He should get double the touches this week, which could mean a big week. The Giants have been very good against opposing running backs so far this season (4th in aFPA), so that could limit some of Williams production. Still, start him as a solid RB1 for Week 4 at home against New York.

BUF RB Karlos Williams - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Dolphins
For the second straight week, Karlos Williams carried the ball six times. For the second straight week, he scored a touchdown. For the record, Williams has two TDs in two games. Starting RB Shady McCoy has zero.

The touches aren't there yet, but the red zone usage is (as evidenced by the two scores). Williams is still not relevant in standard fantasy leagues, but if he keeps scoring touchdowns, he could be good depth once the bye weeks start coming.

BUF RB Karlos Williams - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Patriots
Karlos Williams only had 6 carries in Week 1, but did have a touchdown. Keep an eye on Shady McCoy this weekend. He tweaked his hamstring which could mean more touches for Williams. McCoy is expected to play at this point, however, so Williams should not be in anyone's starting lineup right now.

BUF RB Karlos Williams - 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Karlos Williams appeared to be far down in the depth chart at the beginning of training camp, but the rookie now has a great opportunity in front of him. Fred Jackson was released and Anthony Dixon is hurt. So, Williams becomes the primary backup to LeSean McCoy by default.

Fantasy Downside
We don't know what we will get from Williams at the professional level, but we do know he will now get some touches. He could lose those touches to Dixon when he comes back or even to veteran Bryce Brown, who currently sits behind Williams on the depth chart going into the season.

Bottom Line
Williams should not be a player you draft, but you can pick him up for depth once you see how the Bills use him. My guess is he might get around give touches a game, but if he gets more, he is someone you should to add to your fantasy roster.
