Hello, everyone, and welcome to Week 3 of the NFL season! It's been a very eventual season already and we've only played two weeks. One of the headlines of the season is the early rash of injuries at the quarterback position, headlined by Bengals QB Joe Burrow out for three months with turf toe and torn ligaments. Jake Browning will take the reigns for Cincinnati. Among those also out in Week 3 are Commanders QB Jayden Daniels and Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy. Marcus Mariota and Carson Wentz will start in their place.

4PM: Bears RB D'Andre Swift is expected to play today against the Cowboys. He is listed as questionable with a quad injury after being limited all three days of practice. Swift is a low-end RB2 this week but it will be interesting to see if the Bears start working in rookie Kyle Monangai more into the offense.

4PM: Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a "bug" Saturday and was listed as questionable, but Adam Schefter reports it's not expected to affect his availability for Sunday's game against the Saints. Keep an eye on pregame, and remember this is a late-window kickoff.

An update: According to Adam Schefter, JSN is expected to play today.

4PM: 49ers WR Jauan Jennings is expected to be out for today's game against the Cardinals, per Adam Schefter. Jennings is still recovering from ankle and shoulder injuries. QB Brock Purdy will also be out, meaning Mac Jones gets another start for San Francisco.

Ian Rapoport just confirmed both Jennings and Purdy will be out against the Cardinals.

1PM: The Browns plan to start rookie RB Quinshon Judkins against the Packers, per Ian Rapoport. Judkins had a very nice showing in his debut last week against the Ravens, rushing 10 times for 61 yards and adding 10 yards on three catches. That was all in just 27 snaps (out of 73), after the Browns were ramping him up last week. Now set for more of a full role, Judkins is a flex play this week against a stout Packers defense. Fellow rookie Dylan Sampson should also continue to see playing time.

1PM: Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, but according to Adam Schefter, he has a "strong chance" to make his season debut next week against the Eagles. In other good news for the Bucs, rookie WR Emeka Egbuka, listed as questionable with hip and groin injuries, is expected to play today. Egbuka has worked his way into WR2 conversation in fantasy after three touchdowns in two games.

Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy is not expected to land on injured reserve and could return as soon as Week 7 against the Eagles, after the Vikings' bye following their trips to Dublin and London. Going on IR would have knocked McCarthy out for at four games, making Week 8 his earliest return date.
