What are everyone's thoughts on two teams dropping a player each, and the other team picking the other one up right away? This is obviously after the trade deadline, and it would be a fair "trade".
Yeah, I think if it follows waiver rules, then that sounds fair to me. Most leagues have waiver waiting periods, so other teams could make a claim for them, so it would be fair in my eyes.
If there's no waiting period, it could look pretty shady.
Waivers go through on Wednesday mornings, but then any player that is on waivers are free game Wednesday through Sunday.
Doesn't your league have a 2 day waiting period? ...and then the lower ranked teams have 1st dibs on those players?
