IDP Waiver Wire: Week 12 Pickups and Matchup Plays
Happy Thanksgiving week everyone. Hope you all enjoy the three Fs of Thanksgiving—Food, Football, and Family. We're headed down the final weeks of the fantasy regular season and, thankfully, the bye weeks are now over. Time to take a look at your roster and decide who you're going to cut bait on and who you're riding to the playoffs. Below is a look at who to target on your waiver wire, followed by some IDP matchups I like this week.
Week 12 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups
Kony Ealy, DE, New York Jets (Bye Week)
Going for the revenge game narrative here. He also has favorable matchups over the next few weeks—targeting the Broncos especially. When the Jets go to nickel, Ealy moves to the outside as a lineman and will matchup with Matt Kalil. If you have enough depth, he's worth picking up in deeper, big-play scoring formats.
Willie Henry, DT, Baltimore Ravens (52 snaps/76%)
Henry appeared in 76% of the snaps and made the most of them against the Packers—where he recorded 2 sacks along with 7 tackles. Over the last two weeks, Henry has appeared in 80% of the snaps and is worth adding in DT-required leagues.
Damon Harrison, DT, New York Giants (33 snaps/44%)
I will keep banging the drum for Harrison. He needs to be added in not only DT-required leagues, but all leagues. In most tackle-heavy formats, he's a DL11 in overall scoring and is recording a 12.6% tackle rate.
Hau'oli Kikaha, DE, New Orleans Saints (1 snap/1%)
I think Kikaha receives an increase in snap usage in light of Alex Okafor's injury—although his snap usage really couldn't get any lower. With Cameron Jordan the lone threat for pressure, Kikaha will need to step up his game. With the cupboard getting bare, he's worth looking at, especially if you're an Okafor owner.
