CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at San Francisco

The good news for Marvin Jones' owners is he was targeted eight times which was the most in the last three weeks. The bad news is his quarterback Andy Dalton is out with a broken thumb which leaves some question marks for the Bengals offense.

The matchup with San Francisco does not favor either team, so you should hope that new QB AJ McCarron feels comfortable with Jones and keeps those targets similar to last week. The unknown quarterback factor is big this week so we suggest you keep Jones on the bench for Week 15.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Pittsburgh
Marvin Jones had five catches last week for 55 yards and a touchdown. It was his fourth TD of the season which has been a disappointing number so far as he had 10 in his last healthy full season. One of the problems with No. 2 wide receivers is lack of touchdowns. It separates the good fantasy receivers from the bad.

Jones has a good matchup as the Steelers are 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. But that didn't help him very much in the first meeting this year as he had two receptions for 12 yards.

Even with the matchup, Jones is on the outside looking in for Week 14. Keep him on the bench.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cleveland

Marvin Jones was very quiet last week with only three catches for 25 yards. That's not uncommon for him nor is a 100-yard game. He has been all over the place in 2015. However, he did have a 30-yard run to give him a little value boost. Jones is listed as probable this week but will play.

The matchup is great as the Browns are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. He had a solid game in the first meeting this season with five catches for 85 yards. Again, the inconsistency hurts his value so he is a borderline start this week as a WR3 or flex. See what your other options are, but if you need a receiver, hope Jones has one of his 'boom' games.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs St. Louis
Marvin Jones was in QB Andy Dalton's sights on Sunday night with nine targets. However, it only produced four catches for 60 yards. It was the second straight week he was targeted nine times and had four catches. He has now gone four weeks without a touchdown. Jones will face the Rams, who are 1st in aFPA to wide receivers should limit his effectiveness. He only rates a low-end WR3 or flex at best for Week 12.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Arizona
Marvis Jones had more targets than AJ Green last week, but still only ended up with four catches for 44 yards. His numbers, except targets, weren't too far from his season averages. Jones will face the Cardinals, who are 19th in aFPA to wide receivers. Most likely, we will see his season averages so he only rates a low-end WR3 or flex for Week 11.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Texans
Marvin Jones continues to be a legitimate option for QB Andy Dalton and since he is playing 78 percent of the snaps, that frequency helps his cause. He caught five passes for 78 yards last week, which has been on par for what he has been putting up fantasy-wise. The only negative is three touchdowns, something he was very good at two seasons ago.

Jones rates a low-end WR3 for Week 10 with a neutral matchup against Houston, who is 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. He isn't a slam dunk to be a starter, but he's a viable play if you need him.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Browns
Marvin Jones had one of this worst games of the season last week with only just catches for 12 yards. We will see games like this for him from time to time, especially when AJ Green has big games like he did against Pittsburgh. Jones will face a Browns defense that is 13th in aFPA to wide receivers and is a fringe fantasy starter for Week 9. If you do start him, expect only low-end WR3 or flex numbers from him.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Pittsburgh
Marvin Jones had 20 targets over the last two games before the bye. He is still the secondary receiver to AJ Green, but he definitely is in the game plan and is a reliable option for QB Andy Dalton. He will face Pittsburgh (who is 19th in aFPA to wide receivers), so the matchup slightly favors Jones. He isn't a great play, but he if you need a flex or low-end WR3, he should serve that role well.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Buffalo

After a poor Week 4, Marvin Jones bounced back last week with five catches for 61 yards. He has been a pretty consistent player in 2015, but Cincy QB Andy Dalton has plenty of options in the passing game.

Jones faces a Buffalo defense that is ranked 24th in aFPA to wide receivers, but even with the good matchup, the Bengals seems to be going to others more often -- including Gio Bernard and TE Tyler Eifert. Keep Jones on the bench for Week 6.

CIN WR Marvin Jones - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Seattle

After back-to-back productive fantasy weeks, Marvin Jones did not put up good numbers last week. He only had two targets, which resulted in one catch for 4 yards.

He will have to face one of the best pass defenses in the NFL in Week 5. Seattle doesn't make it easy to accumulate fantasy points, so even though Jones has carried some value this season, he probably should be on your bench this week.
