CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Jordan Cameron at Carolina Panthers
It is officially a lost season for Jordan Cameron. One of last year’s most pleasant surprises, this year Cameron has been a disappointment, though he can be forgiven for the most part given he has been plagued by injuries and horrible quarterback play. The latter was the problem in Week 15 against Cincinnati, with Cameron catching one pass for four yards as Johnny Manziel had a terrible debut. While Cameron is the type of player who can rebound in the future, for now he is nothing more than a TE2.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Jordan Cameron vs. Cincinnati Bengals
After missing several weeks due to concussion symptoms, Jordan Cameron returned in Week 14 and caught four passes for 41 yards. While that is not ideal fantasy production, it is somewhat forgivable given Cameron’s rust and the horrible afternoon Brian Hoyer had. Cameron is no longer considered an influential fantasy player as he was at the beginning of the season, but still offers more than most as a bottom-tier TE1, especially if Johnny Manziel can give the offense a jolt.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Jordan Cameron vs. Indianapolis Colts
For most of last week, it looked like Jordan Cameron would be back for the Browns on Sunday when they traveled to Orchard Park, New York to play the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, the effects of a concussion continued to linger and Cameron was not cleared to play. The outlook appears to be a bit more encouraging this time around. If he’s able to go, he will be a low-end TE1.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Jordan Cameron at Buffalo Bills

After missing several weeks because of a concussion, Jordan Cameron is on pace to return when the Browns make the short trip to Buffalo. Inconsistent when healthy, Cameron has been limited to one big game this season, when he pulverized Pittsburgh to the tune of 102 yards and a touchdown. Nevertheless, Cameron has more upside than most at the position and will benefit from less focus from opposing defenses now that Josh Gordon is back. He can be classified as a low-level TE1.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 – Jordan Cameron vs. Oakland Raiders
We thought Jordan Cameron had turned the tide in Week 6, when he had 102 yards and a touchdown. Instead, the Cameron roller coaster ride continued on Sunday, with Jordan delivering TE100 numbers, catching one pass for five yards. Of course, it is somewhat easy to defend Cameron given the circumstances, as he was open in the end zone at one point, but Brian Hoyer, who had an awful afternoon, missed him. Still, Cameron has struggled far more often than he has succeeded this year. With tight end not being the deepest position in fantasy, Cameron remains a low-level TE1, but a risky one.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 – Jordan Cameron at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jordan Cameron we all know and love (unless you had the misfortune of playing against him) was back last weekend. Cameron hauled in three passes for 102 yards and a touchdown as Cleveland celebrated a rare victory over Pittsburgh. With the Browns playing Jacksonville, Oakland, and Tampa Bay over the next three weeks, owners can plan Cameron continuing to deliver steady TE1 production.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 – Jordan Cameron vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
When is Jordan Cameron going to turn things around? Last year’s pleasant surprise has turned into this year’s bitter disappointment. Last weekend, Cleveland’s passing game was clicking on all cylinders in a remarkable comeback win over Tennessee and Cameron only managed three catches for 33 yards. Yes, he has not been in perfect health, but neither has Rob Gronkowski. While it can be challenging to be patient with a slumping player, fantasy owners need to keep the faith. Cameron is too talented not to deliver TE1 numbers at some point, perhaps as soon as Sunday.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 – Jordan Cameron at Tennessee Titans
Limited by a shoulder injury that may give him fits all season, Jordan Cameron has not delivered the TE1 numbers owners were expecting. Fortunately, Cameron was able to rest over last week’s bye and has been a full participant in practice. While his slow start has inspired some panic, it is too soon to give up on him, especially with Tennessee having yielded two touchdowns last week to Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener of the Indianapolis Colts. Cameron’s first big game of the season could happen on Sunday.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 – Jordan Cameron vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Browns and fantasy owners are hoping Jordan Cameron will be able to play on Sunday. Cameron missed Cleveland’s 26-24 victory over New Orleans due to a shoulder injury. Unfortunately, the shoulder has been giving him problems since August. If Cameron is able to go, he needs to be in your lineup.

CLE TE Jordan Cameron - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 – Jordan Cameron vs. New Orleans Saints
Before exiting Cleveland’s opening day clash with Pittsburgh because of a nagging shoulder injury, Jordan Cameron hauled in two passes for 47 yards. The shoulder injury plagued him during the preseason and may very well keep him out of Sunday’s showdown with the Saints. Much like Rob Gronkowski, if Cameron plays, he needs to be started. But you need to have a good alternate ready to go just in case.
