Week 15 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. San Diego Chargers
On six targets, Emmanuel Sanders caught four passes for 56 yards in the win versus the Bills last Sunday. He also had a 13 yard run on an end-around. Even with the Broncos focusing more on the run game the past three weeks, Emmanuel still has registered 19 receptions during that span. Sanders had a huge game in October versus the Bolts, registering 120 yards and three TDs. Even with the new offensive approach by Denver, you have to keep starting him.
Week 14 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. Buffalo Bills
Peyton Manning threw for only 179 yards last week at Kansas City, as the Denver running game dominated the contest. Emmanuel Sanders turned 11 targets into six receptions for a team-high 73 yards in the win. The Bills are No. 5 in total defense, but you have to keep starting Sanders, who is on pace for a 1,500 yard season.
Week 12 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. Miami Dolphins
Before leaving last week’s loss against the Rams concussion-like symptoms from a vicious hit, Emmanuel Sanders registered five catches for 102 yards and the only Broncos’ TD. Sanders hopes to be on the field at home versus the Dolphins, as he’s having a great season with six 100 yard games. If Emmanuel is cleared to play, he’s a must start, even facing a stout Miami defense.
Week 11 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. St. Louis Rams
In the win at Oakland last week, Emmanuel Sanders registered five grabs, 67 yards and two scores. After not finding the end zone the first five games, Emmanuel has scored six times the past four contests. The Broncos are averaging over 31 points per game and should keep things going against the Rams on Sunday. Keep on starting Sanders.
Week 10 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. Oakland Raiders
Tying his teammate Demaryius Thomas with his fifth game over 100 yards this season, Emmanuel Sanders caught 10 passes for 151 yards in the loss at New England last Sunday. Peyton Manning threw the ball 57 times, with 16 going in the direction of No. 10. Emmanuel is already approaching 800 receiving yards at the halfway point of ’14. Keep on starting Sanders, as he should post solid numbers at Oakland this week.
Week 9 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. New England Patriots
Emmanuel Sanders posted the hat trick last Thursday in the home win over the Chargers. No. 10 scored three times, bringing his total to four on the season – all in the past two contests. Peyton Manning came Emmanuel’s way nine times, resulting in nine receptions and 120 yards. Sanders continues to make elusive receptions, showing no fear. He has been over the century mark four times already and should be started in all leagues.
Week 8 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. San Diego Chargers
In the victory against the 49ers on Sunday, Emmanuel Sanders made some acrobatic catches and scored his first TD as a Bronco. On the night, Emmanuel finished with three receptions for 41 yards. While he’s still averaging over 85 yards per game, he’s totaled just six grabs for 79 yards the last two contests. San Diego is No. 3 versus the pass, but Sanders should be started.
Week 7 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. San Francisco 49ers
As the Jets were daring the Broncos to run the ball last week by rushing only three and four, Demaryius Thomas posted another strong game with 10 receptions; however Emmanuel Sanders was held to just three catches for 38 yards – his lowest totals as a Bronco. Emmanuel took some big hits on the day as well, but continued to bounce back up. With Peyton Manning only three TD tosses from the NFL record, all Broncos WRs should be started this week, as you know Manning would like to get the record as soon as possible and move on with the rest of the season.
Week 6 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. New York Jets
With Demaryius Thomas registering a franchise-record 226 receiving yards last week versus Arizona, Emmanuel Sanders contributed with seven receptions for 101 yards – the third straight game he’s been over the century mark. While he hasn’t been in the end zone yet, Sanders has been targeted at least nine times in every contest. The Jets are 14th versus the pass and had their hands full with the Chargers last week, so keep on riding Emmanuel who has a good shot for his first score of the season.
Week 5 – Emmanuel Sanders vs. Arizona Cardinals
For the second straight game Emmanuel Sanders set career highs in both receptions and yards. In the loss to the Seahawks two weeks ago, he led the Broncos with 11 grabs for 149 yards. In his first three games with the Broncos, Sanders has 25 grabs for 334 yards, but has yet to find the end zone. Even with Wes Welker back full time this week and against a solid Cardinals defense, be sure to re-insert Emmanuel back into your starting lineup.
