Week 8 at St. Louis
Even with Carlos Hyde dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, Bush saw just four carries for 21 yards and three receptions for 13 yards last week. With Colin Kaepernick up and down, the 49ers offense as a whole suffers. You shouldn't have Bush in your lineup.
Week 4 vs Green Bay
Bush is probable to play this week against the 49ers after sitting out the past two games with an ankle injury. He didn't get a lot of work in the opener before getting hurt, so his usage is still in question. Expect him to at least play on passing downs, which could equal a handful of catches.
Week 1 vs. Minnesota
Bush had just two touches in the preseason, but that should change now the regular season is here. Look for Bush to spell Carlos Hyde and also serve as a third-down back. He may only get a handful of carries, but the 49ers will try to get him the ball in the passing game and see what he can do in space. That said, he's not a strong fantasy play this week.
Wild Card – Reggie Bush vs. Dallas Cowboys
In the loss to the Packers last Sunday, Reggie Bush totaled 41 yards on eight touches. In an injury-plagued season, he collected only 550 yards and two scores. Joique Bell will continue to receive the majority of the rushing attempts, but Reggie is still a weapon in the passing game. However, if you’re looking for a RB who will be playing a few games this postseason, you’re better off looking elsewhere.
Week 17 – Reggie Bush vs. Green Bay Packers
After not doing much the previous couple of weeks since returning from an ankle injury, Reggie Bush busted through the Bears defense last Sunday for 98 total yards on 13 touches. He ran for 54 yards and a score and also caught six passes for 44 yards. Bush had his best yardage game of the season in Week 3 against the Pack, totaling 99 yards and a TD on 18 touches. While Reggie and Joique Bell will continue sharing the RB duties, Bush makes for a RB3/flex play this week.
Week 16 – Reggie Bush vs. Chicago Bears
In the win over the Vikings last week, Reggie Bush had only four touches for 17 yards. In the two games since he’s returned from the ankle injury, he’s totaled just 51 yards on 16 touches, as Joique Bell has taken over as the Lions featured RB. Reggie missed the Thanksgiving day win over Chicago and makes for a very sketchy start in the rematch.
Week 15 – Reggie Bush vs. Minnesota Vikings
After missing the past three games with an ankle injury, Reggie Bush was back for the Lions in the victory over the Buccaneers last Sunday. Playing on 22 snaps, he carried the rock eight times for 26 yards and caught four passes, but for only eight yards. Joique Bell had 23 touches and will likely continue to receive the bulk of the rushing attempts. Bush missed the first meeting with the Vikes in October and makes for a shaky start as he works his way back into the rotation.
Week 14 – Reggie Bush vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After missing the past three games, Reggie Bush should be back in the lineup on Sunday. He hasn’t been the player fantasy owners were expecting this season, totaling just 360 yards and one TD. Bush will likely split touches with Joique Bell and be more productive as a receiver in the passing game. Coming off of an ankle injury, be cautious about inserting him into your starting lineup.
Week 13 – Reggie Bush vs. Chicago Bears
Reggie Bush has missed the past two contests and, with the short week, could miss another one on Thursday. Bush is officially listed as questionable after taking limited practice reps on Wednesday. If he does play, he's a borderline flex at best. Bush has had only one good fantasy game all season.
Week 12 – Reggie Bush vs. New England Patriots
Reggie Bush missed the loss to the Cardinals last week with an ankle injury that’s been bothering him for quite some time. He hopes to be on the field on Sunday and the Lions could definitely use a spark in their offense after scoring just six points at Arizona. Bush has had a disappointing fantasy season with just 360 total yards and one TD. Consider him a RB3/flex play this week if he goes.
