GB WR James Jones - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Detroit
Jones hasn't had more than two receptions in a game since Week 5. That's not good news. He did have two catches for 57 yards last week, but he hasn't scored since Week 6. As a low-volume No. 3 receiver, he has to get into the end zone to maximize his potential. Jones has a good shot of doing that against the Lions, who have given up at least one WR score in each week but one. He's a low-end No. 3 receiver or flex play this week.

GB WR James Jones - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Carolina
One catch for two yards was all Jones could muster last week at Denver as Green Bay's entire passing game was disrupted. It's the danger you have when you play a low volume player such as Jones. He's still a high reward guy, however, with his six touchdown catches on his 22 overall catches. Carolina has given up seven touchdown passes this season, so things won't be easy, but Jones could be a nice threat as a flex or low-end No. 3 receiver with some scoring upside.

GB WR James Jones - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Denver
Jones had just two receptions for 30 yards in his final game before the bye week, but did score his sixth touchdown in as many games. Denver's defense has allowed just one touchdown to an opposing wide receiver this season, so making it seven in seven games for Jones won't be easy. Jones has just four receptions in the past two games, so be careful here. I wouldn't use Jones as anything more than a No. 3 receiver and hope he gets into the end zone.

GB WR James Jones - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. San Diego
Jones had just two catches last week on three targets, but scored for the fourth time in five games - and fifth time overall - while picking up 77 yards as well. He's dealing with a hamstring issue, but that was a problem last week as well. San Diego's pass defense is No. 1 in the league against opposing wideouts, but part of the reason for that is because the Chargers are so easy to run on. The Packers are the Packers. Feel free to start them. Jones should perform as a solid No. 2 WR option.

GB WR James Jones - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. St. Louis
Jones didn't score for the first time this season, but did have five catches for 98 yards last week. He's been solid each week, and if Davante Adams stays sidelined as expected, Jones is definitely a No. 2 fantasy receiver with upside. The Rams pass defense has been good against opposing receivers, ranking sixth in the category, but Aaron Rodgers at home is a different animal than anything they have faced. Jones should perform well. He's dealing with a minor hamstring injury, but should be good to go this week.

GB WR James Jones - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at San Francisco
Jones is emerging as the second-best Jones in the NFL behind some guy named Julio - and that's not a bad thing. He had seven catches for 139 yards and a score last week and has scored in all three games this season. With Davante Adams out this week, Jones will fill an even bigger role. San Francisco has allowed four TDs to receivers the past two weeks. Jones is a good bet to make it four games in a row with a score this season. He's a strong fantasy start this week in all formats.

GB WR James Jones - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Kansas City
All he does is score touchdowns. And that's OK, though we would like to see a little more production between the 20s. After catching just one pass for a 29-yard TD last week, Jones has three scores on his five catches this season. He also just missed catching another TD last week. KC's pass defense has given up 20 and 21 receptions to opposing receivers in the first two games for 283 and 223 yards, respectively. The Chiefs also have allowed two WR scores in each of those games as well. Don't bet against Jones getting another score this week and use him as a high-risk, high-reward No. 3 receiver or flex.

GB WR James Jones - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Seattle
If you picked up James Jones following his signing by the Packers two weeks ago, you're feeling pretty good after he produced four catches for 51 yards and two scores in Week 1. He did that, however, on just four targets, so there might be some limitations moving forward. But the fact Aaron Rodgers is looking Jones' way down close is a positive for the veteran receiver. The Seahawks pass defense didn't look up to snuff last week, but we wouldn't suggest using Jones as anything more than a low-end No. 3 receiver or flex this week until he goes out and puts up another strong performance.

GB WR James Jones - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Chicago
It's fully expected that will be the Packers' No. 3 receiver at some point moving forward. He should at least see some action in that role this week despite being signed late, as Jones is familiar with the offense and Aaron Rodgers. The 31-year-old will be a hit-or-miss fantasy player, but when he hits, he'll hit big as he could take some of the deep routes Rodgers likes to throw.

OAK WR James Jones - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – James Jones at Denver Broncos
James Jones caught just one pass in Week 16. However, he made it count, as it went for a touchdown. Jones leads Oakland in receptions and touchdowns, but averages only 43.3 yards per game. The good intangibles he provides to the Raiders do not regularly cross over to the fantasy world. He will conclude the season as a WR4/WR5 who is not worth a flyer.
