MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Green Bay Packers

Jordan Addison comes in as our WR14 this week. He stepped up in a huge way last week, earning the volume of a proper WR1 with 10 targets. Addison was able to convert those into seven receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

The Packers have allowed six opposing receivers to eclipse 15 PPR Points. A reasonable matchup combined with Addison's volume means that we shouldn't have any hesitance clicking him into our lineups.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. San Francisco 49ers

The way to attack the 49ers seems to be through the air. They've allowed four separate receivers to break 15 PPR points. Jordan Addison is doing his best to fill in for Justin Jefferson but they're large shoes to fill.

Five targets, three receptions, and 28 yards aren't going to get the job done for us. We have him ranked at WR18, so he's firmly in the WR2 range. He's startable, but we're hoping for a bit more production in Week 7.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Chicago Bears

Jordan Addison will need to step up in Justin Jefferson's absence. He posted the highest target numbers of his young career against the Chiefs. He tallied six receptions on nine targets, gaining 64 yards and finding the end zone once.

The Bears have allowed a 15+ PPR point performance to an opposing wide receiving in 3-of-5 weeks so far. We have Addison ranked as WR24, so he should be locking into your lineups for Week 6 with the relatively easy matchup and potential uptick in work.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Kansas City Chiefs

Jordan Addison was only on the field for 56% of the offensive snaps in Week 4. He managed to earn just one target in the game against Tampa Bay.

The Chiefs have allowed four receivers to hit 15+ PPR points this year, but with Addison's usage it's hard to imagine that without a touchdown or two. He's a low-end WR4 or flex option at most this week.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Carolina Panthers

At some point, Jordan Addison will stop turning 15% of his catches into touchdowns. It's hard to project him based on his raw workload given his efficiency but there's some risk with him if the touchdowns don't come. He's only managed 13 receptions for 185 yards.

We have him projected at WR33. He's a low-end WR3 or flex option this week but there's a real possibility of a bust week if he's unable to earn more targets.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Jordan Addison is having himself a nice stretch to start the season. This offense is clearly capable of supporting multiple receivers and he's slid right in to the mix.

We won't necessarily expect him to score a touchdown for every 3.5 receptions that he gets. But, his role should continue to grow and he clearly has the trust of Kirk Cousins. He's tied for the second highest aDOT among wide receivers and has done well on deep shots. Addison is a high-end WR3 in Week 3.

MIN WR Jordan Addison - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Addison had a strong debut in his first game. He earned a half-dozen targets, hauling in four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Now he'll likely get a matchup with second-year corner Josh Jobe. The Vikings have no qualms with going pass-heavy, especially in a matchup against a staunch run defense like they have in Philadelphia. Our projections have him as WR32, so he's a decent WR3 option for Week 2.
