Saints starting RB Jamaal Williams, still on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury, is expected to be activated and will play tonight vs. the Jaguars.

While the news shouldn't have you rushing to put Williams, fresh off IR, onto your squad, it does lower the ceiling of the rest of the Saints, as the former Lion is an adept goal-line presence. Once he gets his footing, he could be a fantasy option in positive matchups.

Trade: Jets informed former Chiefs’ WR Mecole Hardman that he is being sent back to Kansas City in another late-round draft pick swap.

Hardman had only two routes on the 21 routes he ran with the Jets, and was clearly not a part of the gameplan after the team went out and signed all of the former Packers receivers. There's a chance that he will yet again carve out a piece of the Chiefs offense for himself as their current group hasn't been very exciting.

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels tells reporters that QB Jimmy Garoppolo won’t practice today with his back injury, not a good sign for his availability this weekend.

Despite Garoppolo having a mediocre season to this point, this is bad news for all Raiders fantasy pieces, including Davante Adams. No word yet whether backup would start in Jimmy G's steed, but neither should be started in fantasy.

The Cardinals are planning to open the practice window for QB Kyler Murray today, the first step in a slow process to ramp him up, coach Jonathan Gannon said. Murray and the team will be smart with his return from an ACL tear, but being on the practice field is a good step.

It would likely help fantasy managers if the Cardinals won a couple of games, as there is still no assurance that they would not shut him down for the year if it's already a lost season. Regardless, this is a good sign that we may see him on the field at some point in 2023.

Matt Eberflus says QB Justin Fields won't practice today.

"Again, we still think he's doubtful for this week."

Tyson Bagent would start week 7 if Fields cannot.

Bagent, a UDFA out of DII Shepherd, could be in for a tough time against the Raiders defense. He should be avoided, along with most of the Bears offense, in Week 7.

Deshaun Watson said he’s still day-to-day. Unsure if he’ll practice today and if he’ll play on Sunday.

It sounds as if P.J. Walker will continue as quarterback for Week 7, unless Watson can turn it around in the next few days. Walker is not a recommended start, regardless of league size.

Bills QB Josh Allen will participate in practice today, with coach Sean McDermott saying, "We'll see how it goes."

We'll keep an eye on this, but this is the first report of him being limited this week. Kyle Allen is the only other quarterback on the active roster at the moment.

Colts QB Anthony Richardson is scheduling season-ending shoulder surgery, with multiple opinions believing it is the only way to fix his significant AC joint injury. Richardson is already on Injured Reserve and doing right by Indy’s franchise QB is paramount.

The writing was on the wall, but this makes it official. It will be the Minshew Show from here on out, and he will a Superflex QB2 option in the right matchups.

Rams RB Kyren Williams is expected to miss multiple games but should be back, at the latest, after the Week 10 bye, per source. Williams suffered an ankle sprain on Sunday.

As Freeman and Gaskin are either freshly off the practice squad, or newly signed, the backfield should be all Zach Evans' for the short-term, making him one of the best adds if your waivers haven't run yet.

The Rams are adding another running back to help offset the injuries to Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers.

Los Angeles is signing Myles Gaskin off of the Vikings’ practice squad, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It's been reported Evans will get the start in Week 7, assuming Williams is out with the ankle injury. Freeman was signed from the practice squad and will likely get work as well. The Rams have been busy building up their RBs, they also signed old friend Henderson today to the practice squad. Williams is expected to miss this week but Rivers could end up on IR and miss 4-5 weeks according to reports.
