In eight full games last season, Cooper Kupp scored the second-most fantasy points and the first-most fantasy points per game (20.3). Kupp was the WR21 despite missing nine games in 2022, and with Matthew Stafford back on the field, his unworldly target% should return.

The New York Jets are trading Mims and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Detroit Lions for a conditional 2025 sixth-round pick, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported on Wednesday night. The condition on the pick swap is that Mims makes Detroit's 53-man roster, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Thursday.

The impact in the fantasy world is likely slight, if at all, but Mims can be on Dyntasy radars for those looking to get a cheap former second-rounder. This trade could very well lock Corey Davis into a roster spot which makes him similarly watchable.

The Jets are planning to release WR Denzel Mims if a trade partner can’t be found. Mims will have a chance for a fresh start soon.

An inevitable trade or release would likely lock Corey Davis on the roster though he had been involved in plenty of release/trade rumors earlier in the offseason. A former 2020 second-round pick, Mims has yet to hit 50 receptions or 700 receiving yards on his career.

Another weapon for the Rams: LA has agreed to terms with veteran WR Demarcus Robinson.

Robinson was mostly buried on the Chiefs depth chart before having a mini breakout with the Ravens last year, catching 50 balls for 500 years. Given the Rams current wide receiver room, this is likely the best case scenario for Robinson. He makes for an interesting option as a last round dart throw, particularly if you have already have Matthew Stafford.

The Rams and Steelers are working to finalize a trade that would send Robinson to Pittsburgh, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday. Pittsburgh has been granted permission to give Robinson a physical, and if the Steelers are comfortable with the results, the former Pro Bowler is expected to land in Pittsburgh.

Assuming Robinson can return to form, this is a huge upgrade over 5'8" slot receiver Calvin Austin. Robinson is coming off two disappointing seasons but lodged a 1,305-108-6 year in 2020 with the Bears.

Rams coach Sean McVay confirms the team has an interest in bringing back Odell Beckham Jr. and says he loves him but notes there are a lot of other teams interested, so they’ll see how it plays out.

It's been well over a calendar year since we've seen Beckham in a uniform, but he had some truly great moments with the Rams, including a touchdown in the Super Bowl and a 113-yard game in the Conference Championship. He also proved to be an inconsistent part of the offense at times. If Los Angeles brings him back, he would eat heavily into Allen Robinson and/or Van Jefferson's snaps, as they deployed him from out wide on around 80% of his snaps through his 12 games with the team.

It seems like Payton is already planting seeds in case Russell Wilson duplicates his 2022 performance. It's worth keeping an eye on, and Stidham should be on Dynasty Superflex rosters.

WR Marquez Callaway plans to sign with the Broncos. Callaway reunites with Sean Payton. In 2021, Callaway had a career-high 46 catches, 698 yards, and six touchdowns in Payton’s offense.

Callaway has never been known as a burner, but there's a chance that this signing is in response to speedy K.J. Hamler going down for four-to-six months with a partially torn pec this week. If the rumors are true about the team shopping Jerry Jeudy/Courtland Sutton, they're going to need some more bodies in the wide receiver room.

The Jets have agreed to terms with Mecole Hardman on a one-year deal worth up to $6.5M.

Hardman brings a lot of speed and a gadget option but he's probably not seeing the field any more often than a rotational WR3. Assuming Aaron Rodgers ever signs a contract, Hardman could operate as a lite version of a late career Ranndall Cobb.

The contract that GM George Paton gave to Russell Wilson in late August makes the cap consequences for cutting him after the first year of the new deal untenable. Without a post-June 1 designation, the Broncos would take a $107 million cap charge by cutting Wilson this year. With a post-June 1 designation, the Broncos would carry $22 million in Wilson’s name this year, and $85 million in 2024.

Obviously the best-case would be to fix the Wilson and the offense. But getting rid of Wilson gets a little easier after the 2023 season. The story went on to say: a post-June 1 designation in 2024 would result in a $35.4 million cap charge that year, with $49.6 million carried over to 2025. Here’s another reason to do it in early 2024. If Wilson is on the roster on the fifth day of the 2024 league year, $37 million in 2025 salary becomes fully guaranteed. Wilson already has received $57 million for 2022. He has another $67 million in fully-guaranteed payments over the next two years. A trade would result in a lower cap charge, by foisting the remaining guarantees onto a new team. But who in their right mind would take on Wilson at $67 million over two years, and $104 million over three.
