The Chiefs say LB Leo Chenal and S Mike Edwards are sick. LT Donovan Smith (neck) and RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) are still working their way back.

All four players won't practice Wednesday ahead of the Patriots game on Sunday.

The RB split in Week 13 operated basically the way we expected it to, with Edwards-Helaire taking the majority of the between-the-20s looks and McKinnon finding the end zone on limited touches, which seems to be his modus operandi. If Pacheco goes, he's the back to start here.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) should be a full participant in practice today.

Lawrence performed fine while dealing with his ankle injury in Week 13, scoring 17.4 fantasy points on a 257-3-3 stat line. He and his ankle will have a slightly easier matchup against the Ravens this week, which puts him on the fringe of the QB1/2 considerations.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (heel) missed his second straight practice on the team’s estimated report.

LA plays on Thursday night against the Raiders. With Justin Herbert out, and Easton Stick in at QB, things could get ugly for the Chargers on offense in Week 15. Palmer is off the IR and could very well serve as the team's WR1 with Johnston and Guyton also in the mix. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, the Chargers really don't have a reason to rush Allen back on the field at this point.

Running back Josh Jacobs (quad) remained out of practice Tuesday.

Jacobs misses another day. As we reported from ESPN, the Raiders aren't planning on adding a RB before Thursday game. But, it's unclear if the team is expecting Jacobs to play or if they will roll with a committee of White and Abdullah.

The Vikings are officially turning to Nick Mullens.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters in his Tuesday press conference that Mullens will start against the Bengals on Saturday afternoon. Mullens came in to finish Sunday’s 3-0 victory in Week 14, completing 9-of-13 passes for 83 yards as he led them on the drive that produced the only points of the game. The Vikings had also traded for Mullens, wanting a better backup for Kirk Cousins. Mullens recently came off IR but the team had already traded for Dobbs, who started his Viking career off hot but has since struggled. Mullens and the Vikings could also have Justin Jefferson for this week's game, which would give the QB a huge boost.

Is it possible a breakup between the Jets and Zach Wilson is already set in stone?

Jets head coach Robert Saleh was asked Monday about a weekend report by the Deseret News, Wilson’s hometown newspaper in Utah, that said the team told the 24-year-old quarterback he’ll be traded during the offseason, with Wilson and Saleh agreeing to part ways when the former No. 2 overall pick was benched last month.

Saleh did not deny the report in his response.

“My conversations with [Wilson] are to do everything he can to get ready to play a football game,” Saleh said Monday. “As far as all that other stuff is concerned, those are things I will leave for Joe [Douglas].”

There is a link to the story in this piece. The report makes sense, especially after Wilson was benched and an Athletic report said Wilson was reluctant to go back on the field after the team went with Tim Boyle but eventually cut him. The Post story said Rodgers, who tore his Achilles in Week 1, is expected to return to the Jets next season. Wilson could probably use a fresh start on another team but it may not be a starting role.

McDaniel says Tyreek Hill is day to day.

Hill was able to come back into the game in the second half after leaving the contest in the first half. As for Hill fantasy owners, they can take some stock in the fact Hill was actually able to return, even though he was at least limited when he did come back. The Dolphins have an early Sunday game at home against the Jets, so owners will at least have some time to make adjustments to lineups if Hill is unable to go. Hill's status will be closely monitored all week long heading into Week 15.

Colts coach Shane Steichen confirmed to Indy reporters that the plan is for Jonathan Taylor to play again this season.

Taylor's missed the last two weeks with a thumb injury and his status remains to be determined for Saturday against Pittsburgh, although reports say a Week 16 return is more likely.

The Ravens are signing Cunningham off of the Patriots’ practice squad to their 53-man roster, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Cunningham, an undrafted rookie out of Louisville, has bounced between New England’s 53-man roster and its practice squad this season. But Cunningham has appeared in just one game — the Oct. 15 loss to Las Vegas. He played six offensive snaps in that contest, the story all said. Cunningham was teammates with Lamar Jackson at Louisville, according to the story.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was sidelined for Week 14 by a groin injury suffered in practice. But there’s a chance he’ll be able to play against the Eagles next week.

One of the things that helps Smith’s chances is the extra time Seattle will have to prepare for the matchup, which was recently flexed to Monday night. While that's good news for Smith, it's bad news for owners who may not have the luxury to wait out a game-time call. Owners counting on Smith are going to need a backup plan.
