Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hinted that his right thumb might be broken during his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and he confirmed it while speaking with reporters in Green Bay on Wednesday.

Rodgers said that he’s played with other broken fingers in the past, but that this is the first time he’s dealt with a broken thumb.

According to the story, Rodgers said surgery was never a consideration and that he thinks he’s played through other injuries that have had more of an impact on his play. Owners who have stuck with Rodgers to this point may want to pay attention to this. With playoff hopes fading, it remains to be seen if the Packers stick with Rodgers for the rest of the season.

If there is anything the Packers (4-7) would like to see from here to the finish line in the final six games of what looks like a lost season -- other than perhaps some game action for backup quarterback Jordan Love -- it’s more of what the rookie receivers Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs can do together.

Fifty-two snaps. That’s all Watson and Doubs have played together this season. Eleven games into the season, and the rookie receivers have been on the field at the same time for what amounts to less than one full game, the story said.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (shoulder/knee) was not present during the 30-minute media viewing period Thursday. This could be like yesterday when Andrews came out on the field late and was limited. RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) participated in his second straight practice.

Kenyan Drake exploded for 109 scrimmage yards in the Ravens' final game before their Bye Week and will now run the risk of moving back to the 1B slot in the backfield. Both he and Gus Edwards are in fantasy consideration this week against a very susceptible Panthers team.

WR Randall Cobb (ankle) is expected to be activated from injured reserve and play versus the Titans, per NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero. Cobb has not played since Week 6.

Cobb lined up in the slot on a whopping 82% of his snaps through five weeks of the season and was tied for second on the team in receptions (17) before succumbing to an ankle injury. The team's wide receiver landscape looks different than it did two months ago, but we know that Aaron Rodgers loves a familiar face, so Cobb could get right back in the thick of things.
Allen Lazard has led the team in slot snaps in Cobb's steed, but Samori Toure's role is likely the one that diminishes even further with the veteran's return.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews did not practice Wednesday, the team’s first full practice since the bye. Andrews has been sidelined since injuring his shoulder against Tampa Bay on Oct. 27.

Good news for Baltimore: RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) returned to practice after missing last game.

The Andrews' news is a bit concerning coming off a bye week, so he's worth keeping an eye on as the week goes on. If he can't go, Likely would get the nod. He caught just one pass filling in for Andrews Week 9, but it was a TD catch. Likely had a 6-77-1 line in Week 8 after Andrews got hurt. At RB, Edwards' return would cut into Drake's workload after he scored two TDs back in Week 9. Drake would likely move to a change of pace role and get the passing down work while Edwards would probably see the early down carries.

Per Demovsky, looking better for RB Aaron Jones, who will practice again today.

Good news for Jones, who left Week 9 with an ankle injury. He should be comfortably plugged into fantasy lineups, despite a tough matchup against the Cowboys.

Jones is looking like he'll have a good shot to play after not being able to finish the game in Week 9.

Gus Edwards will be back next game, that's the plan.

The return of Edwards will cut into Drake's workload. Drake looked good on Monday night rushing for two TDs and helping to kill the clock late in the game with productive runs. Drake likely slides into the RB2 role pushing Hill down the depth chart as Edwards should get early down work. The Ravens have a bye in Week 10.
