Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth, QB Kenny Pickett, and CB Levi Wallace have been cleared and are no longer in concussion protocol.

It's uncertain at this time if Pickett will regain the starting role from Mitch Trubisky but Freiermuth will assuredly send Zach Gentry deep down the depth chart. During the starting TE's absence, Gentry managed to accrue four yards on one reception. Freiermuth is right back to a top-ten option against a Dolphins defense that ranks 22nd in aFPA to the tight end position.

As Steelers coach Mike Tomlin promised, QB Kenny Pickett (concussion) was a full participant today.

The Steelers said if PIckett clears protocol he'll be the starter against Miami in Week 7. This certainly indicates he's on his way to getting the nob. Trubisky would be back under center if there are any setbacks. Keep in mind, this is a Sunday night game.

Mike Tomlin said Kenny Pickett is in concussion protocol, but he should be able to practice tomorrow and "if he's cleared to play, he'll play quarterback" Sunday night in Miami.

Pickett is expected to practice in full on Wednesday, according to reports. If he can't go in Week 7, Trubisky would get the start.

Per Alaina, Sean McDermott on WGR550 rules out safety Jordan Poyer and tight end Dawson Knox, among others expected, for Sunday’s game against the Steelers.

Knox has been one of the most-utilized tight ends in the league, and as such, Quintin Morris has been the only other TE to run routes for the team, resulting in a 3-28 stat line through the three games he's been involved. Morris should not be involved in lineups outside of small-game DFS slates.

The Cardinals have released WR Andy Isabella, who was subject to trade interest the last few years. They signed Billy Price off the Raiders practice squad.

The writing was on the wall for Isabella who didn't have a great camp, according to reports, then couldn't get on the field with Rondale Moore injured and DeAndre Hopkins suspended. Isabella was a second round pick in 2019.

Pickett will have to face one of the tougher defenses in the Bills in Week 5, but should get plenty of chances to put up fantasy points beginning this week. Pickett stole two rushing touchdowns in the second half of last week's game but also threw three interceptions in that amount of time. There's definitely an increased upside to the Steeler offense going forward, but Pickett owners will likely take some lumps along the way as well.

Bills WR Jamison Crowder suffered a broken ankle in Sunday’s win over the Ravens. He’ll have additional tests to see what other damage went along with it, but Crowder is now out indefinitely.

Josh Allen has been spreading the ball around expertly so far in 2022, much to the chagrin of Stefon Diggs drafters. The news is awful for Crowder, who may miss the rest of the season. A slight uptick in usage could be in store for McKenzie, Shakir, or possibly, TE Dawson Knox.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett started the second half against the Jets in place of Mitch Trubisky.

The Steelers offense once again once inept under Trubisky, going just 7/13 for 84 yards and an interception. It became just a matter of time until the Steelers turned to the rookie. Now is his opportunity.
