Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle leaves SNF after hit to head, in protocol

Jaylen Waddle, while trying to make the catch, was hit in the head by rookie safety Marte Mapu, and a flag was thrown on the play.

The third-year wide receiver was able to walk off of the field on his own, but he was immediately taken to the blue medical tent.

Fantasy Impact:

Most recent reports say Waddle is in concussion protocol. There was only a few moments left in the game as the Dolphins were trying to close things out against the Patriots. A tweet last night by Joe Schad, a Dolphins beat writer, said QB Tua Tagovailoa said Waddle was in good spirits after the game. The Dolphins have an early game in Week 3 at home against the Broncos.
