My league is a unique yardage league. A TD is only worth 2 pts. We also only have a small, 12-man roster, relying on transaction fees to boost the pot. We start 8 (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, 1D). Based on the Full Impact projections for my league, Bell is ranked #1 overall. Drafting Bell early in my league is risky, knowing that you will also need to likely draft a guy like D. Williams or Tre Mason, who would take up a valuable roster spot for the first two weeks. In light of that, I can't imagine Bell is still worth the #1 overall pick in my league. Opinions on where you would draft L. Bell in a league like mine?
It's easy for me to say to take him one I guess, but if you can swing it for those two games I would certainly take him. You probably know the trends better in your league than I would so I'm not sure if there's a better spot you can grab him. I know it's risky with your league setup but I think he'll be worth it once he's back. But I see what you mean about your rosters, you pretty much need everyone else to be healthy if you're going to carry a handcuff. I would probably still take him and then draft accordingly.
