Another guy in my league needs a QB for this weekend. He has Tannehill andBig Ben. Tammy is on bye and Ben is out. He's offering me Tanny for Eli Manning straight up. I currently have Matt Ryan and Eli as my QB's. I feel I have 2 good QBs and am leery of trading for Tannehill with all the turmoil in Miami. I feel Manning has more upside right now, and Tanny is trending down. He does however have Denver D and I have Texans D. So I was thinking offer him Eli and Texans D for Tanny and Denver D. He will probably shoot that down. So how about offering him Odell Beckham and Eli for Tanny and Calvin Johnson. I've been kind of disappointed in ODB and I feel Calvin is an upgrade and has more upside going forward. Thoughts? My other WR's are Julio,AJ Green, Ty Hilton and Steve Smith. Non-Ppr
I don't think Calvin is an upgrade over OBJ, so I definitely wouldn't do that, although you have amazing WR's!
I think I'd probably just hold off. It sounds like you're just helping him out, and it doesn't really help you. Tannehill has more boom/bust potential I think than Eli, but the Giants offense hasn't looked bad recently and the Dolphins are a mess. I don't think defensive upgrade would be enough to entice me, but I don't hate that if you can get him to bite.
