I have what one would call a dilemma in that I have two top 5 WR in A Brown and O Beckham Jr. and most likely the a top 5 TE in J. Reed. As I wrote before I am in a $200 salary cap league, therefore these tree will take up about $140 of the cap space. I also have D. Johnson, E. Lacy, J. Stewart, L. Murray and T. Hightower. All of these are RB 1's with the exception of Hightower who is insurance for Ingram owners. The recent post regarding Lacy's transformation and the probability of the Packers reemerging to dominate the NFC North with a healthy J Nelson and Cobb manning the slot again makes me say maybe I should give E. Lacy a mulligan for last year. Is he a top 10 or even a top 5 back again or should I cut him loose? With J P's recent article about the 2nd year player slump I have some concerns regarding D. Johnson and a slight regression as well as the resigning of the other Johnson and the presence of A Ellington eating into the passing game as well. L. Murray should improve over last year with an improved O line and QB play. J. Stewart will probably have a decent year providing he stays healthy but the rookie from last year will probably spell him more as the season progresses, especially if Carolina has a commanding lead in many games along with the fact the Cam vultures his fare share of goal line TD's. No doubt I am going to have to make a decision of who to drop as auction values will not allow me to keep them all let alone the two best RB on paper.

I think that the risk with Lacy makes him the most expendable of your high dollar options. At the cost, I don't think he's worth it. In a standard redraft league, I might be a little more bullish on him, but I think I'd be hesitant to commit a lot of resources to him in a salary cap league, especially when you've got money tied up elsewhere.

I think the dollar amounts would be what decides it for me. If Johnson ends up costing a fortune, I might let him go too, since I think he'll be in a timeshare with Chris Johnson at least at first, and Stewart I never trust to stay healthy. Both are valuable for the right price. Murray I think is the safest of the five options you have. I imagine with Lacy's likely price tag being too high for me, Murray and Johnson would be the guys I'd be trying to hold on to.

Thanks Brandon as that was originally what I had decided on doing if the numbers make sense with the rest of my needs / costs .
