Hey guys! I'm in a 12 team Dynasty League. I own the 2nd overall pick. The 1st overall pick guy is taking Melvin Gordon it sounds like. The same person has the 4th and 5th overall picks and he offered them both to me for my 2nd overall pick. I'd hate to give up the chance to have Todd Gurley, but am I crazy not to take the deal? Also who should I target if I did have the 4th and 5th overall picks.

I'm brand new to 4for4. Excited for a great year!

Welcome to the site!

Before I even finished your question, Gurley popped in my head as a guy I'd want in that spot. You're definitely not crazy for passing on the deal. I'd say it really depends on what your needs are. If you think a RB is a big need, I don't think I could pass up Gurley. If you think you're OK at the position, at least for this year, there are surely WRs you can grab at 4 and 5 that I'm sure could be a big help right away. There are also some lesser RBs who could make an impact, guys who may not begin as starters but should get there, and aren't in the tier of Gordon and Gurley. So there are options.

But if a RB is what you need, I'd stay put. If you think some WRs will help you and Gordon and Gurley are off the board with the first two picks, that at least gives you a chance at 2 of the top three WRs.
